I do not recommend staying here. Dead bugs in bathroom, cold water if other room uses water, broken sliding door, no appointed parking, unclean room. No spare plugs for charging personal items.

Light bulbs burned out and not replaced, had to take one out of bathroom to put in lamp in cabin ,not very friendly staff had to ask the cleaner 3 times for clean towels so we could take a shower after coming back from hot springs, patio door could use a new one and track for door full of dirt and bugs ,never stay there again

Our room had so many bugs we were pretty much killing bugs the entire weekend. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony because there would be a lot of bugs and the furniture was really worn down. The balcony floor was covered with a dirty carpet.

The view from the balcony is beautiful. However, rest all are terrible including bed, facilities, front desk. I highly recommend to look for other better option.

If you’re looking for an authentic wilderness survival experience without leaving the comfort of a motel bed, this is the place for you. Both beds came pre-seasoned with mystery hairs and questionable stains. The pillows were a lovely shade of “used mascara and questionable yellow splotches” and my request for extras was completely ignored.. which in hindsight was probably a blessing. Bugs were included free of charge, and not the small, ignorable kind either. The bathroom? The door didn’t close, the tub had more mold than grout, and we were greeted by someone else’s half-used toiletries in the drawers (thanks, previous guest, for your generous donation). The freezer was frozen on the outside, and the bathroom ceiling joined the tub in a moldy duet. The balcony offered a gorgeous mountain view… until the MASSIVE spiders made it clear they had the best claim to it. This place could honestly be something special. the location is beautiful. But until Rocky Mountain Spring Lodge invests in bleach, bug control, and maybe a bonfire for their current bedding, I’d recommend admiring the scenery from literally anywhere else.
