The hallways all smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The phone in the room didn't work at all. The regular lock on our door didn't work. The shower sprayed water everywhere. The room had a distinct musty smell. The guest across the hall had a dog that barked continuously. The pull-out bed was very uncomfortable. The best part was how nice the staff was.

The gentleman at the front desk was amazing. The obly issues inhad was there were crumbs all throughout the sofa and in the pull out sofa bed and the drain in the tub barely drained.

My booking was for three nights. I was unable to arrive until the early morning of the second day. The staff would not allow us to check-in until after 4pm and also said we were still being charged for the first night, even though they were not letting us into the room. I would be fine with charging us for the room if they let us in the room when we arrived, or telling us they would not charge us for the room, but we would have to check in after 4pm. But charging us and also saying we cant check in until after 4pm is ridiculous. Would not deal with them again.

Very mid range

Room was as expected as we've stayed numerous times at this configuration of hotel. On the plus side, Im glad we were not charged for the extra night we booked but missed bc the airlines cxld our flight (so we were there only 2 nights not 3). However, on the negative side, 1) our room was never cleaned 2) Brand of coffee in the room was significantly less enjoyable than the coffee in the lobby (and thats really saying something) 3) breakfast selection was okay, not great, not horrible

Overall the stay was for an emergency and a last minute booking - so it fit the bill. It was a bit run down and the daily housekeeping was less than desirable - sometimes the beds were made, sometimes not; sometimes the coffee was restocked, sometimes not. The pool was closed and with 3 kids hoping to swim after a long day sitting in the hospital waiting room each day was very disappointing - no indication it would be closed or any solution offered. The front desk staff were very nice.

The hotel staff made sure to take my non-refundable payment before informing us that the pool is closed for our entire reservation, which was one of the main reasons we booked there. When I asked for a refund immediately after paying, he said they couldn't do that. I booked through Expedia and they got one night refunded.

Hotel fine, but room switcheroo was not

The bed was fine—albeit with the usual “mound” in the middle from most people sleeping on the sides. And the breakfast was fine. But they called me only a few hours before check-in to tell me one of the 2 queen rooms I had reserved was unavailable. They “upgraded” my son and me to an accessible king with a pullout bed. (Since my son is a grown man and he didn’t want to sleep with me, he took the pullout.) I should have gotten a call sooner. I would have cancelled.
