Wonderful property, great location for exploring Reykjavik on foot. Felt like we were right in the middle of everything. Room had a full kitchen including a freezer, lots of space, very clean. Hotel staff was super helpful and kind. Free laundry which is great if you get rained on or bit dirty hiking. Definitely recommend!

I’ll start with the check in staff. They were so kind and helpful when we arrived that it put most of any anxiety we had when we got to the city to rest due to the ease with which they acclimated us into our stay and offered plenty of helpful tips (most notably parking) to navigate Reykjavík. We absolutely adored this property. It was a studio apartment style setup with some comforts of home, most notably the kitchenette set up with sink, dishes, dishwasher, microwave and electric stovetop if you prefer to dine in while visiting. There was a small grocery store right around the corner with mostly anything you’d need to cook in your room or stock up for any adventures that you would be getting into outside of the city. We spent most of our time exploring the island but having a comfortable place to call home when we returned to in the evenings was such a pleasant feeling each day. Thank you so much for everything and we would love to return for a future visit and stay with this property. Keep up the great work!!

We loved the location. Right in the heart of things. Also loved the kitchenette - stocked with coffee, tea, milk and cornflakes. The hotel was beautiful, having just been renovated last year. Finally the service was outstanding. Fantastic experience all around. We would highly recommend.

This place was absolutely fantastic, when I come back to Reykjavik I can’t even imagine trying to stay anywhere else, I don’t think anything could be better. Amazing cleaning staff, the best accommodations I have ever seen, you could spend a week here and be very busy within a 20 minute walking distance every single day.

Hotel site a little confusing due to fact that there are at least 20 Residence hotels but one hotel with lobby and staff. We had difficult finding hotel but manager walked to our Residence hotel

This Hotel is very central to everything. There are bus stops at the bottom of the road. We used bus stop 14. Although there is no parking at the hotel itself there is parking locally. We parked in parking area 3 which was free for the weekend and very cheap at other times. Only a two minute walk away. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful when you asked questions. The hotel room was ready before 3pm and we were allowed into the room. I think we were in the room by 1pm. The rooms are very stylish and clean with plenty of room. We had a delicious breakfast every day which is delivered to your room. We took a day trip around the Golden circle and snowmobiling. It was absolutely fantastic so I would recommend that. We drove ourselves to the BlueLagoon and to a couple of waterfalls in the south. I would highly recommend hiring a car as it is the cost of one transfer for a family of four. The roads are easy to use and very quiet.

Family of 6 stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment.

Family of six spending Spring Break in Iceland for a week. Stayed in this hotel for the final leg of the trip. Got the 3-bedroom apartment and it was AWESOME! Full kitchen, plenty of beds, and the in-room washer/dryer was fantastic! The staff even stocked our fridge with milk, apple juice and orange juice (everyday!). Would definitely go back and stay in this hotel again. 5 stars recommended!

Wonderful hotel - we stayed in the main building in a 1 bedroom apt. Clean and well cared for. Close to center of Reykjavík everything. Very homey with breakfast. Will stay here again next time!
