The Blackfish is a great place, perfect for my sister and I's trip to Gros Morne. The view from the deck and the sitting area when it was cooler were great. The location was very convenient to all we wanted to do in the area. Easy walk or short drive. Very bright and all the glass art in the place was beautiful. Kitchen had all we needed. And the hosts and check in at the Glass House made us feel very welcomed. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks for a great visit.

The property is in a great location with waterfront view. Nicely decorated, very clean and cozy. Kitchen well equipped with basic cooking amenities such as olive oil, spices, dish soa etc. Beds were very comfortable. Washer/dryer was a bonus. There were board games, reading books and a lovely sitting area. Would book this property again!

Would absolutely recommend The Blackfin to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday! The cottage was a home away from home, perfectly positioned with hiking trails in all directions. Our hosts were extremely warm and accommodating, and we look forward to coming back in the future!

This home is centrally located to get to Gros Morne National Park Activities, and walk to shops and restaurants. However we adored the restful nature and privacy of this home. The outdoor chairs provided are great, as are the well placed sunroom windows to watch the Atlantic and the Atlantic sunsets. The inside of this Blackfin house, has artistic decor that really enhanced our stay with the beautiful colours, textures and patterns. Great washer and dryer, excellent beds, comfortable furniture, wifi and a great shower head! We loved our stay!

Blackfin Beauty

The Blackfin is right in the heart of everything. Hiking trails are close by and easy to get to. The rental itself is fully equipped, warm and very homey. We could all see ourselves living there. Urve, our host is a lovely lady and a very talented glass artist. Everyone we met was so friendly and provided lots of info on things to see and do in town and beyond.

Beautiful sunsets

This is the perfect place to stay in Rocky Harbour. The porch looks out over the water, and gave us a view of stunning sunsets. It's a quiet area, and a short drive to Gros Morne for hiking. We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed this place. It had everything we needed. The sunsets were gorgeous. The location was great. The a/c worked well. The mattresses were comfortable too. The owner told us to stock up on groceries before coming. We did, but I wish we had brought more with us.

Urve's Black Fin is a gorgeous and comfortable home with all the amenities you could need to enjoy the spectacular Gros Morne region. well laid out and thoughtful decorations elevate this space to the next level. I've started to acquire her incredible art to elevate my own space! Nothing more breathtaking than the sunset on the front deck.

Perfect location to enjoy Gros Morne

Cozy accommodations with easy access to park trails. Walk down to the shoreline/lookout in front of the house for sunsets or morning coffee. Groceries are 10 minute walk away.
