Fantastic 3 Bedroom Apartment In Center Of Rome. Beautifully Remodeled!

The Savoy Suite Roma is a completely renovated apartment in the center of Rome. With three beautifully decorated bedrooms, a large and comfortable living/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, one of them is en suite.The apartment’s location could not be more central for visiting the city of Rome. In one direction, a 10 minute walk will take you to the breathtaking Roman Forum and the Colosseum, as well as the Colle Oppio park (the hill where the Emperor Nero built his golden palace over 2000 years ago.) A 5 minute walk in the other direction will take you to the central train station, where trains leave by the hour for Florence, Venice, Milano, Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Two metro stops are also within a 10 minute walk of the Avalon: Line A (Piazza Vittorio station) will take you in a few minutes to the Spanish Steps with its incomparable shops, as well as to St. Peter’s Square and the Sistine Chapel. Only two stops on Line B (Cavour station) will bring you to the majestic Circus Maximus, where in past millennia ancient Romans staged chariot races. Line B of the metro will also take you to the regular trains to Ostia, where in only thirty minutes you will arrive at the seaside to visit the ruins of Ostia Antica or have a leisurely seafood lunch on the beach.Near the apartment there are very good restaurants and famous stores for Italian breakfast, like Panella and Regoli. Among the Wilson’s services are an English-speaking driver who can do not only simple airport transfers but can also take you on private day tours to places like Pompeii, Vesuvio, Positano on the Amalfi Coast, Florence and Tuscany, Spoleto and Umbria, Tivoli and the Roman Castles.

We had the most wonderful time in Rome! The home is magnificent. The pictures do not do it justice. It was a perfect spot for our family. Located in a great spot and an easy walk to the Metro and the Colosseum. Sal was amazing! Very helpful and great suggestions for restaurants. He was also able to connect us with a car service. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier place or a more helpful host!

This rating is tricky. The apartment was clean, it was as advertised. We had no problems with check in or out. The host was great. The only reason for 3 stars was the location. The guides who picked us up for our tours were very concerned for our safety and told us not to leave the apartment after dark and not to leave unless we were stepping directly into an Uber. They said we were in a very dangerous location. We had been out and about for two days with no problems but it wasn’t a very nice area of town and it wasn’t very close to much in terms of food or shopping. We have no complaints about our stay, we just didn’t feel very safe in that location.

The host was very welcoming & great to work with. He greeted us at the apartment & helped us get our luggage inside. Apartment slept our family of 6, and host even rented a pack n play/portable crib to accommodate for our baby. Host was very helpful during the whole duration of our stay. Responded to texts very timely. Apartment was clean & cozy. Great restaurants & supermarkets within walking distance. Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum were all about a 25 minute walk. We took an underground train to Vatican. Overall, we greatly appreciated our stay here in this apartment. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment.We all felt the location was good and there were many Ubers available to bring us to further locations. Many of the things were in walking distance 10 to 30 minutes.Sal, went above and beyond for our accommodations due to an issue that we had at checkout time. We had to bring one of our family members to the airport and on our way back we had a flat tire which delayed us getting out of the apartment at the 10 o’clock checkout timeHe graciously told us not to worry, and that he postponed the cleaning people in order to accommodate us which was above and beyond in my opinion. The apartment had plenty of sleeping space it was very clean. It was very cute. We all enjoyed staying there. The best part was the air conditioning. After spending our time in different countries with no air-conditioning it was so wonderful to be there.I highly recommend staying at this apartment.Sal, also was good about arranging transportation from the airport for us, which I found was very helpful. He also gave us great ideas for our stay in Rome.

First trip to Rome

We had a wonderful stay during our first trip to Rome. The apt is located in an area that makes it easy to walk to the Colosseum or the train station in about 15 minutes, but removed enough to not feel like you’re surrounded by other tourists when the day is done. Salvatore, our host, was generous and welcoming and provided us with tips for restaurants and getting around the city while we were there. He went above and beyond what I’ve experienced with other VRBO hosts. It was nice to know we had a local resource only a text away since this was our first time in Rome!

We unfortunately were only able to stay here for about 15 hours. The property was perfect for our needs, and it is accurately described in the listing.Sal was very communicative with me, and accommodating.We had plans to visit the Coliseum, and it is only a 15-20 minute walk away. There are great bakeries nearby.We would definitely look into staying here again when we come back to Rome.

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Rome

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Vrbo apartment in Rome, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the train station and within a 20-minute stroll to iconic landmarks like the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. This made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, featuring three actual bedrooms that comfortably accommodated our group of five. With two full bathrooms and the added convenience of a washing machine, it provided all the comforts of home while allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the charm of Rome. We had a loverly stay, in this very clean and modern apartment. We all had enough space and were on a great street close to all types of cuisines right downstairs! Convenient store, mini market, great Italy food, Pizza & even an amazing Kabob place! Thank you Salvatore for your beautiful place, and great recommendations to the other fine dining you left on the dining room table for us and arranging our private airport transfers, it was seamsless.

Restful and convenient

Within a few easy to walk blocks of Roma Termini and perhaps 20 mins from the Colosseum. Local restaurants are tasty and streets are quiet at night. The apartment has comfy beds and windows can be blocked from light if you need a few hours of good sleep midday

Great place for short stay

The apartment is perfect for a quick stay in Rome. It is very clean with adequate facilities. Communication with the owner is very prompt and clear. Great place for access to the main train station and bus lines as well as the train line from the airport. Great place!

The apartment looks just like the pictures, very clean and can comfortably keep 5 people. Host is super kind and gave me some great recommendations. Location is very central, short walk to the main station and other key points of Rome.
