Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Major. The hotel was close and walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in Rome. The room was fantastic, had a breathtaking view of St. Mary Basilica and the staff were beyond excellent. Luigi in the front helped with our check in and check out and getting our transportation scheduled to the airport on departure day. Would 10/10 recommend this property. Every day we came back, our room was cleaned and refreshed.

I have only good things to say about this hotel. The staff were fabulous- very helpful and welcoming. When we were checking in, they noticed it was my fiancé’s birthday (from checking his passport) and sent a bottle of champagne to our room! The room was comfortable and the bathroom was bigger than expected. Would stay again!

Only a short stay but room was cosy but well maintained . Breakfast a little basic …only hassle was some areas have small hidden stairs so you have to be careful moving around .Very good location for the sights ,,,

Very clean and nice. The shower wasn’t the best (very difficult to regulate temperature with low water pressure), but definitely not something too much of an issue. The location is perfect and the rooms are spacious. If we come back we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel! The room was perfect and very comfortable. I loved the neighborhood of Monti and proximity to the train. The rooftop bar sounded really fun but we didn’t go. If you want to go to bed early I suggest earplugs, they have live music and what sounds like a fantastic time on the roof

Love the area and the service was wonderful. From the moment they had someone pick us up from the airport to our departure we felt well taken care of. They even gave us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon.
