Hotel was great. So close to the train station that could get you from San Francisco to San Jose. Lovely Bistro down the street and the staff were very good.

We found the room to be in need of a good refresh and cleaning. Window latch coming off, security door latch loose, cover to AC controls came off in our hand. Bathroom walls were stained, bathroom door needed a cleaning and paint job, handle to toilet kept coming off. Furniture scratched and bed had an annoying squeak, Comforter under the top sheet was full of hair. Breakfast was a joke, no fresh fruit i.e., berries or bananas. No jam for toast, no yogurt and the coffee was horrible. Went out for coffee daily. Also, the cushions in the breakfast room were dirty and stained. Needless to say, we will find other accommodations on our next trip to the area, to management, try getting out from your office and inspect what you expect.

We always stay at The Country Inn and Suites whenever we go to San Carlos which is about 3-4 times a year. It's our favorite. The beds are comfortable, it's quiet, safe, free parking, good breakfast, coffee and tea available all the time. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend it!
