Amazing beachside cabin

Had a wonderful two night stay in May and was incredibly happy with the property and area. The place was incredibly cute and perfect for a romantic getaway. Steps from the beach, with a porch and lovely back patio to spend time in. The location is wonderful, a 25 minute walk to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and more a short walk or drive away. I can’t wait to book my next stay here!

The only issue we had was my wife was uncomfortable and I found it odd that the VRBO listing does not mention this property being "a shared property" as described by the management booklet inside the property. This being a shared property is known only after you have rented (at a 500.00 per night rate). So what happens is you are constantly wondering when and if someone will use and arrive at the cottage in the back. Your stay becomes awkward. VRBO should make it requirement to list "a shared property" in their original listing descriptions. These comments are from prior property owners that rented our properties through VRBO.

Amazing place!

My 70+ father stayed here and absolutely loved it. The location could not be beat, and he said any street noise was not heard in the bedroom, which is in the back. It was comfortable for him and had everything he needed for a week at the beach.

Lovely Place

We very much enjoyed our stay over the Christmas weekend. The house is clean and is just as described in the listing. It took a couple of phone calls and texts to have someone address a hot water issue but everything worked out fine in the end. Great location. We would stay here again.

In Santa Cruz for the Triathlon

The property was exactly as advertised. It was wonderful being a stone's throw from the beach, where there was a great deal of activity. The house is on a one-way street with very little traffic.

Fabulous property right in all the action

House is great in a location that’s perfect for beach, food, biking and being near the marina. House was immaculate and well equipped. Outdoor patio was perfect for morning coffee and storing our bikes. Would happily recommend to anyone looking to stay!

Cozy Beach House Steps from the Water

This is a cozy, clean beach home that accommodated three of us comfortably. The location is across the street from Twin Lakes Beach, The Crow's Nest, and harbor.

Perfect spot for beach access

Lovely spot for a family of 4. Very close to the beach, can walk back to the house anytime to shower, grab a snack, or take a little break. Not an easy walk to the Boardwalk, so we took an Uber to get there. All the comforts of home to be able to cook meals and clean clothes. Would definitely stay here again!

Great cottage and location!

Clean, cute, amazing location, on site parking, fenced backyard, soft and fluffy bath towels, comfy bed, smart TV, great front porch and backyard to sit and read/nap. Living room twin bed/sofa situation not too comfy (mattresses have lost their spring), sofa pillows need new covers/cleaning, and need paper towels in kitchen. All over, still a great stay and would stay again!

A few days on the beach

Fantastic little house for us and our pugs we walked 3 times a day along twin lake beach our dogs love it 
 great exercise options so close to the marina for boaters and sup folk and fantastic eatery’s restaurants 35 mins walk to San Cruz along the beach we will be back

Adorable cottage just steps away from the beach!

This adorable beach cottage was steps from the beach. It was so clean & cozy & felt like home! It has everything you need, including a nice backyard patio. The chairs on the porch were perfect for people watching and an afternoon cocktail. We will definitely stay her again!

Great place for a beach vacation

We loved this little house and its proximity to the beach and 2-3 nearby restaurants (you could almost hit the beach with a frisbee from the porch). Very clean; as others have noted, leaving any food out will attract ants so don't do that. Nice back patio area with BBQ that was ready to use. Short drive to a long list of restaurants and surf sports (minutes from Pleasure Point). Only minor problems we had were fixed immediately upon texting the property managers. We stayed for four nights, would have liked a few more. Parking for two cars in the driveway was a nice benefit too.
