If you are looking for a quiet island beach community that offers alot to do, then you've come to the right place.
This one bedroom, one bath, first floor condo offers a comfortable king size bed, Smart tv’s in both the bedroom and living room. There is a queen size sofa bed in the living room to accomodate family or guests.
The kitchen is fully stocked and a private patio is ready for a cozy afternoon cocktail after a beautiful day at the beach.
Amenities include linens, towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and a beach cart to make your trip to the beach easy and convenient.
Lido beach is a short 1 block walk from the condo and has been selected as one of the best beaches to visit in Sarasota Florida.
If you enjoy kayaking, you can rent kayaks just 2 blocks from the condo where you can kayak on your own or join a tour of the mangroves and see the beautiful Sarasota bay.
If you like biking, you can rent bikes close by as well.
For the fisherman, there are docks close by near the Mote Marine Aquarium or visit the park at the south end of the island. Fishing the jetty off of the beach is fun too.
For the golfer, there are many golf courses available for golfers of all levels of play. Most all courses offer clubs to rent for reasonable costs too.
St. Armands circle, a short and beautiful 10 minute walk away, offers upscale restaurants and shopping as well as piano bars dancing and entertainment.

It was such a delight staying at Chasing Sunshine. I would say it was the Goldilocks home as it was just right; cozy, comfortable and the perfect space for a couple. Access to the beach was easy, and walking to nearby restaurants and local shopping was as well. I am already planning a return visit.

Really great location. Very quiet and 1 block from the beach and St Armand Circle is walkable and a quick drive if you prefer, and we had no problem finding parking. This was our 2nd stay. The unit is very clean and cutely decorated. For me personally, I prefer a firmer mattress and did unplug the air freshener while there as some scents bother me, but overall I would stay again. It really is a great place to stay for 2 people.

We were quite surprised of what to expect upon our arrival.It is such a cute and spacious condo. Close to the beach and walkable distance to St Armand Circle to shops, restaurants etc.We would highly recommend this condo.

Perfect for couples

We spent a week here and it was perfect for me and my wife. Had everything we needed it was super close to lido beach (5 min walk) and is in the middle of anywhere you would want to go. It was very clean and tidy. Perfect for any couple. There is also a place at the end of the street where you can kayak or paddle board through the mangroves and is a fun relaxing time.

Outstanding. The location is fabulous. It’s an easy walk to St. Armands square where there is good food and fun shopping. The beach is fabulous, the water is warm and shallow enough that you can stand almost all the way out (I am 5’9”). The walk is very easy and the sand is white and soft. There are lots of shells in the shallow water. It’s a short drive into Sarasota for fun restaurants and Ringling Brothers museum. The condo was PERFECT. Clean, cozy, inviting. Everything you could want in a vacation rental. I had great communication with Sue. There was some work being done the last few days but Sue and I had no problems talking and dealing with that, she told me before we went so we were not caught off guard. I would give this home 10 if I could. Highly recommend for a fantastic stay. :)

Perfection in its details inside and out

I arrived with the intenttion to lay out business plans for the next six months, particiapte in an online conference, spend hours on the beach in any way I chose, and to replenish my soul. ALL of that was found in the delicious bedroom with its kingsize bed, the perfect kitchen that served all I needed since I wasn't preparing any big meals, and having two spaces in the living room and dining table to find the perfect place for my next planned moment.The beach walk was easy, 5 minutes, and her provided beach chair easily went on my back and my beach bag (an extra provided surprise!) led me on such relaxing to and from journeys in beach time.Thank you Sue for EVERY bit of the thoughtful elements you provided!

Cute Condo in Great Location

The place was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was perfect for 2 people. The beach accessories, including the beach wagon, umbrella and chairs were great to have and made our trips to the beach so much easier and enjoyable. Easy walk to St. Armands Circle for restaurants and shops. The host was very nice and easy to contact. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was smooth on this trip. Sue provided clear and helpful instructions for our arrival and departure. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect! We walked to the beach, to St. Armand's Circle, and to the mangroves for kayaking. Highly recommended.

Peaceful Retreat

Property was just as described. Had all the amenities listed and more. The condo was very clean and ready for us when we got there. The beach was a quick walk down the block and St. Armand’s square was a bit farther that we thought but still walkable. We drove part way and had no problems parking and walking the rest of the way. Sue was very responsive to us and had no problems adding a few days to the front of our trip. We would have liked to book for next season too, but was booked already for the dates we were interested in. Goes to show how appealing this property is!

Best vacation spot yet.

Sue worked very hard on restoring this property after the hurricanes. It was beautiful on the inside. It was very spacous with all new furnishings. The location is within walking distance to the beach, food, drinks, and shopping. The only downside was having to leave. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Promised Paradise? Promises Kept!

I loved my Sabbatical at Chasing Sunshine! For Labor Day I could have spent a week anywhere in the Continental United States but chose Lido Key at St. Armand’s Circle for its unrivaled mixture of tropical beauty and rich history of this Ringling Brothers Island home. The mansions are breathtaking and tooling around on E-bikes is the best way to see it all! Thank you, Sue, for going out of your way to make sure that I was always alright as a lone guest. I AM coming back soon, since I reside just a half hour away! This truly was Paradise.

Impressive!

This was our first time staying at Chasing Sunshine on Lido Key and our first experience with VRBO as well. Our host, Sue, was very easy to work with and promptly responded to emails and texts. The check-in and check-out was a breeze. The condo itself blew us away. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We spent 6 nights on Lido Key and this place was truly a home away from home, literally just bring your clothes and hygiene products. Anything else you could possibly need is already there! The neighborhood is quiet and it's a very short walking distance to the beach. The beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach bag, and towels were provided by the host. The 5 min. drive to St. Armand Circle is a must visit for shopping and dining. We have already began thinking about our next trip to Lido and plan on staying here again!

I had a delightful experience at Lido Beach. The proximity of the beach was highly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they thoughtfully provide various beach essentials, such as beach caddies, coolers, and sunblock, in case visitors forget their own. The overall cleanliness of the area was commendable. The ambiance was serene and peaceful, conducive to relaxation.
