This was a wonderful place to stay. We so enjoyed the history and the beauty of the mansion. Martha made an excellent breakfast every morning and was very kind. The library was a wonderful place to relax in the afternoons and enjoy some quiet time reading. The porches and the outdoor area were also beautiful places to relax. It was very convenient to the downtown area with nice restaurants. I would highly recommend people to stay here when you visit the areas Saratoga Springs.

We loved our stay! If possible, having different breakfast options each day might make longer stays a bit better, rather than the same menu each day. I’d recommend a manager’s “reception” each night with wine, cheese, fruit, etc. The house is definitely made for entertaining. Also, while the soaps in the bathroom were nice, switching to a spa brand might also make it a bit nicer. Our room, the Maria Pia was very comfortable and it was nice hanging out in the common areas. The parking was incredible, given the historic home’s location. I’d definitely recommend the Batcheller Mansion Inn and stay here again!

I have stayed here twice during the race meet in August. It is beautiful and each room is individually decorated so no two are alike. The common areas, outside porch, living room and study are gorgeous. The custom included breakfast in the dining area was very good and freshly prepared. The only issue was, our room was on the third floor, and as older adults we found it difficult. Next time I will ask for a second floor room!

Beautiful mansion. Nice room. Old charm. Bathroom was huge. Stayed in McKinley. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Proximity to downtown was great. Walked to Druthers for dinner in 10 mins. Walked to The Thirsty Owl for dessert and wine in 5 mins. No real complaints about place but we likely won’t return. Too many stairs for me. Note that check in is 3pm. Not sooner. They don’t have traditional front desk.

Amazing 150 year old Mansion

The building was fabulously restored and decorated for the Christmas holidays. Breakfast was very good and the dining room, living room and library were period decorated and beautiful. Will stay there again! Happy Holidays!
