We only stayed one night; it was a studio with one king bed and a sofa bed. We asked for one extra blanket and they told us that, due to hotel policy, they couldn’t give us more than one. In the morning at 11, the housekeeper was already knocking on the door to clean the room. We told her to wait because we needed 5 more minutes. Honestly, I will never stay at that hotel again.

Breakfast was different each morning. Mainly looking for healthier options and not powdered eggs. Staff acted like it was a huge feat to get us turkey sausage… Only two of the jets in the hot tub BARELY worked. There is an obvious and large natural gas leak somewhere in the side or back of the building. I got hit with it in the face every time I walked my dog.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express numerous times all over the country and this is the only one we ever had to pay for parking. I can understand a hotel charging for parking in the middle of a big city with limited space but this hotel is in the middle of nowhere with a huge parking lot. The price for the room was not great but not terrible either however with the parking charge on top it then on the pricier side. The hotel itself is what is expected of this chain—clean, great bed/pillows and good breakfast, though the front desk advertises “gourmet” breakfast which made us laugh.

Breakfast is always fresh and tasty along with coffee - coastal or decaf coastal coffee ready to use! Staff were friendly and genuine when I needed to check in way early. The king size bed was so comfortable to sleep in with a simple TV that showed Christmas movies during my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend in December. I love the mirror lights in the bathroom, great for waking me up since I'm not a morning person haha
