Walk to Ocean Beach, Nat'l Seashore, WiFi, Bike Rail Trail

'Amy's by the Sea' A 10 min walk to miles of ocean beaches/sand dunes, this renovated 1940's Cape-style cottage, located in the National Seashore sits on a 2+ acre wooded lot.
Open floor plan with living and dining area and open to knotty pine ceiling. Bright new kitchen with large A-frame glass overlooking the spacious deck. Surrounded by National Park, Amy's by the Sea is an easy walk to the ocean beach via paved road for bicycles/strollers or via the 'back' trail to the bluffs overlooking the ocean, sand dunes and miles of quiet beauty. The back trail to the ocean also connects to the very rare White CedarTrail preserve and Marconi site.

A 1/2 mi walk in the other direction gives you direct access to the Bicycle Rail Trail and General Store/ Post Office. Avoid Rte 6 traffic by taking Ocean View Drive into town, harbor, or glacier ponds for a swim or kayaking. Cottage is only 1/2 hr drive to Provincetown for nightlife and terrific whale watching.

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© Amy's Cottage, nous y avons logĂ© pendant une semaine.. Le cottage Ă©tait propre, la cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Nous avons trouvĂ© tout ce dont nous avions besoin dans cette superficie rĂ©duite. Bien localisĂ©, le cottage se trouve Ă  mi-chemin entre OrlĂ©ans (pour faire vos courses) et Provincetown (pour une belle visite). La plage au bout de la rue est un sĂ©rieux atout. Cette plage est magnifique et peu achalandĂ©e. Nous louons des propriĂ©tĂ©s depuis plusieurs annĂ©es, et je peux vous certifier que Jackie se distingue comme hĂŽtesse pour son excellent service. TrĂšs disponible, elle a rĂ©pondu Ă  chacune de nos communications avec empressement. Proactive, elle nous a envoyĂ© toute l'information pour les vignettes de stationnement bien avant notre arrivĂ©e. GĂ©nĂ©reuse : elle a pris du temps pour m'appeler et me donner une grande quantitĂ© d'informations utiles (notamment sur les sentiers derriĂšres la propriĂ©tĂ©). Elle m'a mĂȘme transmis une rĂ©fĂ©rence pour une massothĂ©rapeute Ă  Provincetown. Nous recommandons ce cottage sans hĂ©sitation.

Lovely little cottage in an excellent location. Perfect for a small family for a few days to enjoy all the Cape has to offer. Terrific outdoor space with its large deck . Owner Jackie was terrific to deal with, providing information in a timely manner.

Check-in was easy and the owner was very responsive. Small and basic, the cottage has all you need for a great summer stay. Above all, the location is terrific - close to beaches, rail trail and town of Wellfleet - all of which were lovely. We were lucky in having great weather so able to enjoy all of the benefits of this area.

Perfect stay

My wife and I loved our stay at Amy’s by the Sea - comfortable, well maintained, well stocked with necessities. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the ocean beach in one direction and to the Blue Willow in the other. There was easy access for cycling, whether on the road or the bike path. The deck was a lovely place to eat and the outdoor shower a treat. Jackie was a very responsive host. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Amazing spot

My daughter and I spent the three most beautiful days here and enjoyed walking , going to the beach and wonderful restaurants in Wellfleet . This charming cottage was a short walk to many conveniences and short drive right Into the center ! We had such a special stay and we highly recommend Amy’s cottage !!! Excellent spot !!!!!

Wonderful Weekend!

Great experience from start to finish. The property owner was up front about the small size of the cottage, so we were prepared. Twenty-minute walk to the beach was ok or you can drive. Quiet neighborhood and a great French bakery down the street. Property owner was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Would recommend for 2 adults with 1-2 kids, or 4 adults who don't mind close quarters.

Third year in a row staying at this hidden gem

This was our third year booking Amy’s Cottage and we just can’t say enough about it. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach, bike path and the most amazing French bistro! The neighborhood is quiet but close to everything we love to do. The cottage is the perfect size for our family of 3. We LOVE the outdoor shower, deck and the kitchen is great during our week long stay. Jackie (the host) is wonderful, accommodating and incredibly communicative. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Cottage in Great Location Wellfleet

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is simple but well maintained and very clean. The kitchen is serviceable for meal preparation. It is, as advertised, cozy/small. We were a couple - just two of us - yet we found it confining at times esp for meal prep. The bed was comfortable. The location is unbeatable - walk to ocean and also to cafes. The deck is comfortable but could be better appointed / landscaped for greater enjoyment of being outside. Owner was very good with communications, which we appreciated.

Nice little place with a fairly short walk to oceanside beach, comfortable and cozy, washer+ dryer and outside shower nice touches (though we didn't use on our short stay). Close to road but we never noticed the noise.

Perfect location, sweet cottage

Amy’s cottage is just a perfect spot for enjoying the many pleasures of Wellfleet and the surrounding towns. The cottage is cozy and well laid out. The outdoor shower was a real plus! You are close to a yummy bakery and the bike trail and an easy walk to the beach. We would definitely return! Host was terrific from booking through departure. Five stars for sure!
