This home was absolutely fabulous! We had such a great time exploring the river on the provided kayaks. Location is great, the access to the river and kayaks was perfect! Would stay here again if I ever go back!

This little house is a compact and efficient rental nicely located on the Weeki Wachee river around the midpoint of the course between the headwaters and the Gulf of Mexico. If one paddles north one enters the more pristine and undeveloped stretch and if one paddles west, one traverses the trailer park and container home stretch that is more crowded and less primitive. If you want to see what original Florida was like, paddle toward the headwaters and be amazed. This rental itself is rather basic and kitchy. The location is the thing.

Perfect stay great location

We really enjoyed our stay only one complaint ..not enough time to spend at this great location . Defenitly booking here again. The "pirate house " was amazing in every way. Loved the attention to detail and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were very good with communication and helpful throughout the whole process. Can't wait to get back to weeki very soon.

Just around the bend

The Pirate House is just enough off the main part of the river to be private & quiet. It was a very short paddle to be in the clean clear water & a short drive from the Upper Deck Restaurant for a great meal. The decor is above & beyond making you feel like a pirate.

Great Christmas at the Pirate House

We loved our Christmas get away at this property! It was a great place to relax by the water at night after a day on the river in the kayaks. We loved kayaking during the day on the river and seeing manatees and relaxing by the fire in the evenings. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
