1880 Victorian In Heart Of Downtown
Best of both worlds with upscale renovations and old St Augustine charm. This Victorian home was built in 1880 and is located within the heart of the Historic District. A few years ago, I fully renovated the private residence into 3 separate apartments, each fully contained with its own private entrance, kitchen and full bath. This newly renovated second floor apartment has 1 queen bed in a private bedroom along with a sectional couch in the living room. Bikes offer you the opportunity to leave the car parked and see the city by walking or riding. Bikes are available from a bike share rack one block away and a great alternative for transportation around the city.
Enjoy the many restaurants to choose from all within a five minute walk from your front door. Additionally, the shopping and sightseeing is just around the corner. Plan to spend the day sightseeing and walk back to unwind on the front porch with glass of wine before getting ready for the evening fun.
If you've come to enjoy St Augustine's beautiful beaches you're only a ten minute drive away. Crescent Beach lies to the south a few miles for those looking to relax on a quiet beach, or join the crowds on St. Augustine Beach with a fishing pier and many great restaurant options.
Overall, this property is a great value and the perfect location to spend your vacation. Hope to see you soon!
The property was clean and well appointed. The balcony in front and deck in back were great. The only real issue we had was outside noise at night and extremely loud movement late at night from the 3rd floor. Trying to sleep our last night was very difficult. Otherwise it was great!
Our family enjoyed every moment together in this lovely home. It was perfect for our group! The home was clean and welcoming. The host was very kind, responsive and followed up after check in to ensure our stay was going well.
A private gem of a home in the heart of historic St Augustine.
Imagine living in a second-story one bedroom Victorian apartment a few minutesâ walk from any venue in historic St. Augustine, with two balconies and a designated parking spot (!!), a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer on the premises. Easy to settle in, hard to leave.
We enjoyed our weekend in St Augustine. The unit was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We loved the deck and balcony. Both were great for relaxing and viewing beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We would stay here again.
Best thing about this place is the parking!Worst thing was a worker was on the deck when we arrived and continued to work for about an hour. Would have loved the heads up. Thankfully he didnât stay long and when he returned the next day, we left for the day and didnât have to worry about where he was. We did not use the kitchen so canât respond to any of it. Overall, I would highly recommend this place! I would stay here again for sure!
This location was perfect for someone who needed to go back to the home throughout the day for online meetings but also wanted to explore the town. Was the perfect location to watch the storms roll in on the porches. Being so close to the Main Street and restaurants made it easy to walk home even at night with no issues. Would love to stay here during the winter lights festival and I hope to come back!
A great location and nicely appointed apartment. The balcony facing Spanish Street and backyard patio deck are both fantastic additions to this unique and historic property.
The apartment was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the balcony and back patio. Having a designated parking spot was really convenient. Walking to St George street in a minute was so nice.
The location is excellent. There were workmen working on the exterior of the property the entire stay. We weren't notified it was under renovation before the stay which was unfortunate. That being said the location is great and the house is very well stocked with anything you might need
We stayed on the second floor. There was everything you might need including a bottle of wine! We made our reservation so long ago our instructions told us how to get the key. A quick phone call and we had the code to key pad. Even better. The location is within a few minutes walk of everything. We enjoyed the rockers on one porch and the recliners on the other. Keurig coffee maker and pods, sweetener and cream were welcome. If I had to suggest one thing it would be a safety bar to get in tub/shower. The unit is wonderful and we would return again if we visit St. Augustine.
Really nice house and location. The high porches were a bonus. Could walk everywhere and stop back for a break when we needed. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Enjoyed our stay. very much.
