Located just a stone's throw from vibrant St. George Street, our Casa Del Sol (House of the Sun) cottage boasts a prime location where you can immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of St. Augustine.

A quick note about our historic downtown location: Casa Del Sol is located at the end of a very narrow, one-way dead-end street with limited turnaround space—part of the charm (and reality!) of staying in historic St. Augustine. The home has one driveway parking space, best suited for a car or small-to-medium SUV. We also provide a residential parking pass for Saragossa Street, just one street over, and paid parking options are available nearby. Detailed parking and arrival instructions are provided before check-in.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an inviting living area seamlessly connected to the kitchen and dining space. Relax on the ample seating while enjoying entertainment on the large smart TV, or grab one of our books about St. Augustine. The dining table offers spacious seating for six to eat, play games and enjoy time together.

Our well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker and more, allowing you to whip up delicious meals during your stay. There is also an outdoor electric grill with grilling utensils provided.

For coffee enthusiasts, our coffee, tea and hot chocolate station offers a variety of brewing options to start your day off right, including a recipe book to inspire new concoctions. There are also board games, cards and chess to keep all ages entertained. Grab the two house bikes from the outdoor shed to explore the city, or take the beach chairs and sand toys along for a day at the beach!

Rest and rejuvenate in our two cozy bedrooms, each appointed with a king bed, blackout curtains, full-length mirror and smart TV. The bathroom, situated between the bedrooms, offers a convenient shower to freshen up after a day of exploring.

For moments of harmony and balance, our Harmony Corner provides a basket full of self-care options, including a yoga mat, foam roller, stretch bands, essential oil sprays and more. And for our furry friends, we offer a range of amenities, including a crate and bedding, bowls, leash, poop bags and toys to help make your pet's stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

We had a great stay at Casa De Sol in St. Augustine. The cottage is so comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. In fact, it is hands down the best equipped VRBO we have ever stayed in. Communication with the host was helpful and always prompt. It is also super quiet so every night is a good night’s sleep. We enjoyed the location too as it is a short and easy walk to most everything in the historic area so once parked you can walk everywhere. Thanks for hosting us!

The house is located on a very quiet Dead End Street perfectly situated for quiet nights on the porch or walking the approximate one block to the entertainment area, St George Street. A short 10 minute drive will get you to the beaches, there's free parking at Splash Zone next to the fishing pier along with multiple restaurants to choose from for lunch. The house was equipped with everything that you could want for your stay, the host has thought of all your needs, we have already booked a return trip next year.

We had an excellent stay. The house is well appointment and the hosts have thought of everything. We have stayed in St. Augustine many times and this was by far our favorite location. It is great to be able to step out and be minutes from the great attractions.

The house was fully stocked, very clean, beds were very comfortable and location was absolutely perfect! The home is located on a quiet street, yet in the heart of everything. Heather was great to work with - very quick to respond. Heather made sure our pups were treated special too by providing toys and mats to lay on. The house is only 2 blocks from Flagler College, which made it an easy walk to visit our Flagler student.Thanks Heather!

Beautiful house in an absolutely great location. Didn’t need for anything. They had chairs, bikes, beach towels, beach blanket and a tent. All the amenities in the kitchen. Cute, quiet street. Would stay here anytime we are back in town.

Even more perfect than it sounds

The description for this rental doesn’t adequately describe how awesome it is. Location is amazing and it’s such a comfortable spot to relax after walking to the sights all day. Communication with the hosts was prompt and very courteous, we had no problems while here but feel like they would have been very attentive if one had presented itself. Will be staying here again when we return next year.

I cannot say enough about our stay at Casa Del Sol. The location could not have been better. It was walkable to absolutely everything. The house had everything you didn’t even think you might need. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated and super comfortable. I really appreciated the little things like how fresh the towels and sheets and blankets smelled. I know it sounds silly, but those little things can be big things! We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend staying at this property. We will be back. thank you Heather and Shaun.

Hidden gem in the heart of St Augustine. 2 blocks (walking distance) from St George St. Home was super welcoming to us and our pup. Extremely clean and well furnished. The property owner went above and beyond with all the little extras, which we greatly appreciated. Extra pillows, dog treats, a fully stocked coffee bar. It felt more like home than a vacation stay. Parking is tight. My car fit. My husand's full size truck would not have. Overall a great place to stay.

The most charming cottage! Attention to detail was paid to everything. Beds were cozy, house was clean, we needed for nothing. The house is so close to everything that we parked the car when we arrived and didn’t get back in until we departed. Would highly recommend!

This property is in such a great location on a quiet dead end street! Easy walking distance to historic district with tons of restaurants, shops, etc. Getting a car in was a tight squeeze so don't rent anything huge.The property itself was so thoughtfully decoraed, clean and had all the amenities you could need. First aid kits, umbrellas, washer/dryer, and of plenty of kitchen appliances. There was a coffee bar equip with teas, coffees, creamers, various sugars too. The rooms were comfortable with so many options for blankets, pillows and nice luxury towels in the bathroom.They really thought of everything. Even though we didn't bring kids or a dog or go to a beach, there were things there for everyone. Bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, a beach tent, sand toys etc. They also had several board games. Plus, a whole welcome basket for a dog! The owners were communicative and made sure everything was in place for us before arrival. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Couldn't be more perfect!

This property is everything you could ever want. Impeccably clean, with every kind of amenity you could imagine. Also the location couldn't be better--it's right there in the middle of the historic district of St Augustine yet down a quiet little street that is tucked away. It is within walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants, and bars. This property is worth every penny.

This home is amazing. If you are thinking of staying here, DO IT!! The host are great. Communication with Heather was superb. It was my wife’s and I first time in St. Augustine celebrating our anniversary. Heather left us a little gift. I had a special request for check in which she accommodated (thanks again). I really feel the host want their guests to enjoy their time here. I’ve stayed at other VRBOs where all they care about is your money and do the bare minimum. Definitely not the case here. Home was spotless upon arrival. Like other reviews stated the location is perfect. No need to move your car once you arrive. You are steps away from everything. When you are done with your day and come back to the house you are on the end of the street where it is so peaceful and quiet. You would never guess you are steps away from everything going on around you. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit.
