Pool and hottub were very nice. Easy access to the beach. Condo overall was nice but couch and loveseat in living area are beyond worn out. Several packages from fedex were delivered to our condo on wednesday and thursday of the week we stayed. I'm assuming they were for the owners of the condo. It would have been nice if they had them delivered during a timeframe when they were there and not while other people are staying there. we had to bring them in and find a place to keep them and a couple of the packages were quite large.

Not what we expected

We have stayed in multiple units at Ocean Gallery over the years and it is our favorite place to stay in St. Augustine. I knew before we came they were short staffed (as is nearly every place in St Aug). However, when we arrived, the burner on the stove was turned on, there were crumbs in the chairs and on the floors, finger prints all over the sliding doors, a broken handle to the sliding door, only one pillow in the master bedroom, and crusty stains all over one of the blankets on the other beds. We did not anticipate that the first few hours of our vacation following a 13 hour drive would be spent washing bedding. When I finally was able to take a shower, I found the handle to be in poor repair and the drain rusty and gross and mildew in the tiles. After paying quite a bit for cleaning fees (and assuming the people before us did too) I expected to come into something at least sanitary! It is a lovely condo— it is very well decorated and the living room furniture is very comfy. But the whole place is in need of a good deep clean. Also— there is not a lot of cookware if you are going to be cooking meals at home. We have stayed at OG many times, and will again, because I believe this is just a result of being understaffed. Even still, they were responsive in getting everything squared away for us. The head of housekeeping came to our condo and helped get us together and I can’t tell you enough what a lovely person she is! Ocean Gallery is in a great location, they have the best pools, an indoor pool for cooler days (hard to find on the beach) and great views. This property would be great with a good cleaning and some repairs.

The condo was clean and well equipped. The deck has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed the beach. pool and tennis courts. Close to downtown St Augustine and restaurants on Sy Augustine beach

Very nice stay! Living room was great with comfy furniture and big tv and the balcony view was beautiful and peaceful!
