Cozy Ski House in Stowe, 5 min to village, perfect for family/friends getaway

Your own ski house, with spacious yard, and ample parking. Our location is the best in Stowe . Enjoy our multi level home, with first floor mudroom, laundry room equipped with storage racks for boots, helmets and gloves. On this level is also a comfortable Den, equipped with a large leather sectional sofa, perfect for relaxing with Family & Friends. Downstairs is the Master Bedroom, with King Bed, Smart TV and ensuite bathroom.
On the second floor is a comfortable dining area and kitchen. Here you’ll find a high-top dining table with seating for 8, comfortable leather chairs, and exceptional views of Vermont's Mountains, you'll enjoy lovely sunshine in this room.
On the third floor are additional bedrooms, two with queen beds and the third with two twin beds, along with the house's second full bathroom. Enjoy a great nights sleep in our comfortable beds, and cozy down comforters .
Outside you'll find a winter ski/board storage shed adjacent to the house and a spacious private yard. You'll have a blast on our gentle sledding hill , fun for adults, yet gentle enough for the kids too. We have 2 Sleds ready for you to get out and have fun. If your'e looking to have a Snowman making contest with your friends/family we have plenty of props ready for your use.
Stowe Mountain Resort is a mere 10-minutes away where you can enjoy a day of skiing and/or riding, or enjoy Nordic Skiing or Snowshoeing at Trapp Family Lodge, just 10 minutes away, or take on Stowe Bowl just a few minutes drive. You can shop at the local grocery store for your supplies just minutes away, and enjoy Stowe’s many restaurants & cafes, all within 5-10 minutes from Stowe House. Our location is central and convenient, yet still quiet enough to watch Vermont deer in the woods.
If you are joining us for a summer stay you'll enjoy close access to Stowe's magnificent Recreation Path for biking, running or walking, or one of Stowe's ample hiking or mountain biking trails. We have a well appointed sunny deck for relaxing outside, and ceiling fans in our upper floor bedrooms to circulate Stowe's lovely mountain air. Don't miss out on enjoying Stowe House for a summer getaway, fall visit to enjoy foliage views from every window, or winter vacation. Sweet Spot Close to Stowe!

Beautiful place with plenty of beds for our group of 8. Kitchen and bathrooms were large and clean. We really enjoyed coming back to this cozy place after our days on the mountain.

Very practical and well maintained property

For 3 couples this home was perfect. Everything worked well and was in good condition. The location was great- not far from town and not too far from the mountain. All the appliances were good. I did have to turn the router off and on again once when the WIFI lagged and it might be nice to have a reading lamp near the armchairs in the kitchen/dining area. Had a great time!

Great time!

Everyone was very comfortable in the house. The location is a short drive to great restaurants and Spruce Peak. The girls had a blast playing in the yard. The road noise is a little loud upstairs so we played some white noise at night and all was good. Otherwise we are very happy and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Week in Stowe!

We just got back from a wonderful week in Stowe - the house is centrally located, has great amenities and room to roam. We were fortunate enough to get a spring snowstorm and our two kids loved the sledding hill and making snow people in the big yard. The owners have clearly thought about the little things like sleds, puzzles, and in-home laundry - will definitely book again!

Our Yearly Stowe Family Getaway.

We were so pleased with this rental for my husband and me, and our two sons, their wives and one baby. It was perfect. It was clean and bright! Felt modern and minimalistic which we find very relaxing, in other words it wasn’t cluttered at all. The bedrooms were very comfortable! The house is very nicely decorated and stocked. The location was so convenient for food shopping, restaurants and skiing. It was a lovely location up on a hill. Charlotte was easy to reach and very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again, possibly next year for our yearly Stowe visit. Thanks Charlotte!

President’s weekend 2024

House was in a great location to get to skiing, breweries, and Main Street! Bedrooms were great size and kitchen well stocked for all our cooking needs! Property owner was proactive in making sure we could access the property and available for any questions since this was first time to Stowe. Great Experience

I stayed in this house with friends for a ski weekend. The house was very clean and well equipped. The owner was friendly, responsive and easy to deal with. The location is convenient to both the mountain and town. I would absolutely rent this house again.
