"We loved our stay here. A beautiful, old style property with beautiful gardens, lovely old furnishings with lots of artwork on the walls. Phenomenal views from the rooftop area, which is sadly underutilized. Great lake views from many of the rooms. 20 minute walk into Stresa along a lovely walkway on the lake edge. Good breakfast as well. Highly recommended"

"Perfect location for getting about on Maggiore as near the ferry and also the 3 Isola’a which were all worth a visit. The hotel was a little tired but we had the top floor terrace room which more than made up for it. We had breakfast in the next hotel Milan du Lac which was very good."
