Location, location, location! Hotel Famy Inn Kinshicho is in a fantastic area — just a 3‑minute walk to the subway station and bus terminal, surrounded by shopping malls and no fewer than three 7‑Eleven convenience stores within steps.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and fairly spacious. Breakfast is offered free each morning on the 14th floor.
On the downside, we experienced noticeable street noise around 11 pm - midnight from nearby restaurants, likely due to being on the second floor. The bathroom also felt quite outdated.
Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, and I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and welcoming service.
If you do not mind the typical Japanese business room, this hotel is pretty good with many eateries and kombinis nearby. At night , the area will have some callers for the bars but nothing unsafe. Has 2 Jr lines and a subway so it very well connected. There is also shopping centres around the area
Hotel is great for single travelers which do not want a lot of luxury but a place to leave their luggage and rest - Don't get me wrong, service is top notch and the place is tidy and clean. Room service is excellent. Staff is kind and know basic to intermediate English. No issues whatsoever. I forgot my card key inside the room, informed it at reception and provided a new one at no cost. I would consider this hotel for future visits for sure!
Nice hotel. Small rooms, which is expected for Tokyo hotels. Clean, organized, quite old but well-maintained. Friendly and helpful staff, they can speak English. Very accessible to everything, 2-3 minute walk to Kinshicho train station.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Friendly staff.
Clean room & comfy bed.
The breakfast spread is very delicious .
Very close to the Kinshicho station.
In overall, Hotel Famy Inn Kinshicho is an excellent place to stay for a business trip or trip with your friends or solo! It is near a subway station and also JR station. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent especially if you do not like Japanese breakfast; you could eat butter, Jam, and egg. If you a firm pillow, this place is your heaven! But I had little problem with WIFI. During four days, one or two times I lost the connection to the internet, and I had to turn off and on my iPhone wifi. Also, some apps could not work with hotel WIFI such as WhatsApp
This hotel has 3 types of rooms. The cheapest has a single bed and a bathroom with no shower or bath. Ironically the smallest room has the largest toilet. During this stay, I choose the medium room with a semi double bed and bathroom with toilet and shower. The larger bed was nice but toilet took some acrobatics to use as it was so small. The shower is tiny to say the least. The hotel has a large bathing facility on the 14th floor which makes the small shower forgivable. But the small toilet is the problem. My suggestion is to opt for the small room. The bed is smaller but over all it's just better. The staff are nice and the facility is clean. Although breakfast is the same everyday, it's good for anyone on a budget.
Average business hotel. Room is outdated pretty small but didn't matter for me as I was there only to sleep. Shower room size average Japanese business hotel but curtain was old and filthy with some black mold spots. Wifi works OK but for some reason it took forever to retrieve GMail. Has decent size bath at the top floor but for me s only. Neighborhood is a mixture of shopping center, restaurant and red line district - probably not a good choice for family.
Perfect very cheap place to stay but with the needed privacy. Very close to Kishicho station. So many shops and restaurant all around. The staff is very helpful and polite. Very clean and quiet.
The room is very small and bathroom is quite compact. perfect for solo travelers, not recommended for couples with children.
Stayed here for a few days, as the location itself is close to a lot of my friends. The place itself is relatively shabby and small, but you get what you paid for. Nothing more, nothing less.
Room small but standard by Japan standards. Service good breakfast okay lots of shops safe to walk around in near jr station about 2 minutes. Good value Hotel.
