The room was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful even though I speak no Japanese, the breakfast was delicious, the hotel is beautiful. The location could not have been better, 5 minute walk from the subway and centrally located. It was so quiet and peaceful. I will stay here again.

I had a medical emergency during my stay in Tokyo and the staff at Hotel Niwa were amazing in helping me get care. They were kind and checked in on how I was doing and even let us check out late when I was well enough to travel home. While my Japan visit didn’t go as planned I felt very safe and comfortable staying at this hotel and am glad we chose it. My husband said the breakfast was great and the rooms were cozy. I hope to return and stay there again.

Hotel Niwa was so beautiful, we booked the hotel twice in the same month (coming and leaving Japan). It is an oasis in a very busy city. The peaceful amenities make it a perfect stay. I will book this hotel again.

If you plan on working, you'll have to use your phone as a hotspot because the Wi-Fi is terrible. It's very intermittent at best. I had to have someone from the front desk come to my room to show them that my TV did not have a closer access point nor password referenced. When she arrived she told me to try the TVs Chromecast link. I did but it too was spotty. Don't get me wrong. The hotel staff are very kind and gracious but not having good Wi-Fi at a supposedly business oriented hotel is not a good combination. The property itself is also lovely and a welcome respite from the chaos that is Tokyo.

The room was spotless with clean pyjamas every night. The staff were courteous & professional. We enjoyed the tea service, the massage chairs and the quiet relaxation areas. Very very pleased that we chose this hotel for our stay.
