Majestic Million Dollar Mountain Top Cabin overlooking Smoky Mtns

Rocky Top Lodge is an exquisite all wood cabin which is ideal for family gatherings. Description: Spacious (4100+ Sq. Feet), Beautiful (See the pictures and Video), Tranquil, Quiet, Peaceful, Serene with Modern Updates. Spectacular 180 degree panoramic view from each room overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

When you are ready to come inside you will be treated to 4100+ square feet of breathtaking naturally preserved wood surroundings to include two master suites-each with king-size beds, two other huge bedrooms with queen-size beds, two huge gas log fireplaces, pillow top mattresses and absolutely the best furnishings to make your stay in the Smokies a truly memorable experience!

For the kids, the loft offers an additional spacious recreation area to include an upscale pool table, Foosball table, Game Cube, TVs, DVD players, stereo and other fun activities. Also, in the loft is a queen size sleeper/sofa. We have two sets of bunk beds available, one set per queen bedroom. For the little ones, we feature 2 baby beds and high chairs.

We are located just outside of beautiful Wears Valley and convenient to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, and the Knoxville Airport.

Our latest addition is extremely fast internet service. With this new service, you get the best speed available in the Smokies.

For security purposes, we have outside cameras.

Phenomenal is the perfect description

This house was perfect as a base for our Smokey mountain adventure. Just a short distance to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove and Knoxville, we were able to easily get to all the things we were doing for the week. Besides the location the house itself was just perfect. A great set up with everything we needed and more. We had several questions along the way and the owners responded very quickly and took care of the question. The perfect host. My next trip back definitely staying here.

Worse experience

When we arrived at check in at 4 we went to the cabin and see that it had not been cleaned at all and the floor was covered with dead lady buds!!!! When I called they sent someone to clean but was not ready for check in till after 6:30!!! Then the Hot Tub was not on so did not warm up till the next day and it had a funny smell to it!! Over all we did not have a good experience at all!!!

Review of property

We enjoyed our stay and this property. Lots of room and nice big table for eating. The hot tub was not working for part of the week because of lightning strike but was repaired. Refrigerator water and ice was broken, but everything else was very nice. Lots of beds and bathrooms. We encountered daily visits from mother bear and her 3 cubs, searching for food which was fun to see but a little scary for the kids. Very well stocked in kitchen, bathrooms, etc. with most everything we needed. Great location for heading to our daily treks to Smoky Mountain National Park. Access to a nice local pool was also good. Short drive to Townsend was also nice.

Exceeded our expectations. Fabulous views, comfortable space, plenty of room for a large family. Especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen supplies and a new powerful grill. So close to the National Park entrances. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Place

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The lodge was perfect with many amenities. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub. The fully equipped kitchen and grill made it nice for cooking meals. The large 10+ foot dining table and spacious living room were great for meals and hanging out. The hosts we’re very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Getaway with the Grands!

The house was perfect for our 3 generation getaway. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds, games and an amazing view! We felt like we were gay away from the business of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but actually just took 15 minutes into town. Would definitely recommend!

Very Nice Place to Stay with Family

We had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay here again and take my family. Would recommend this place to others as well. We had a wonderful time. Even had a glitch with VRBO not sending us the info needed the day before our trip. Send a text message to the owners and had what we needed in just a few minutes.

The best cabin ever!

We took our church youth group for the long weekend and had an amazing time! The cabin was so beautiful, a spacious kitchen, plenty of sitting for our group, everything was perfect! The one time we had to communicate with the owner, she was quick to respond and really kind. The only thing I would say is - yes the drive up is STEEP but it is so worth it! We can’t wait to come visit again next year!

Get getaway!

Great for groups and family to hang out together, rest, party or just whatever. Place was very well stocked, spacious and beautiful, comfortable, host was very accommadating. Location was great as your not in the crowd of all the tourist. areas. The cabin was on street that wasn't rack and stacked like most rental cabins I've had before. The property is nothing short of amazing. It’s gorgeous and was clean. We had a couple of small hiccups

Couldn't have asked for a better place!

This cabin was amazing! Beautiful clean property with literally anything and everything you could've possibly needed! Plenty of supplies for small children and infants which I thought was an AWESOME touch! All the kitchen gadget and tools you possibly ever need! Only thing I would suggest is bringing extra household supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, and laundry supplies! There's enough to get you started but, with as many people as the cabin holds, you'll run out fairly quickly! Also, the road leading up to the cabin is pretty steep with several switchbacks! We should've figured that but, if you've never stayed in the mountains, it's not something you really think about! All in all, the stay was absolutely pleasurable and we will definitely be back again!! Thank you for helping create beautiful memories for our family, Mrs. Peggy! ❀

Perfect for our Large Family

We loved everything about our stay! We had 16 people and had plenty of room. The cabin is so nice and feels so homey. The kitchen is so well stocked, beds are comfortable. The only thing I didn’t give 5 stars on was the check-in process - only because when we arrived at 4:45 the cleaning crew was still there and they didn’t leave until 5:15. There wasn’t room for all of us to park and unload while we waited for them to finish up. I know that’s not the owner’s fault, though! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location

This cabin and its location are beautiful, and the space is really well suited for a family reunion like ours. There is plenty of space for a group of 13-14. There were some relatively minor things that would have improved our stay: more bath towels, kitchen towels, and dish cloths (couldn't find any dish cloths at all). We also couldn't find any pillow cases for all the extra pillows and could have used one or two extra sets of sheets. One of the beds wasn't made when we arrived and a few of the bathrooms had absolutely no toilet paper. We had some major plumbing issues during our trip but were grateful to the owners for doing what they could to make it right.
