Amazing resort and villas. Just the most beautiful property. Tranquil respite from the bustle of ubud, but still close to the monkey forest and good restaurants. Villas exceptional lovely spacious and a great pool. Would stay again.

The place was very accommodating when we needed to abruptly change our schedule there. We had a villa with a pool that was very private and very refreshing after a day hiking around Bali. They did not explain their shuttle service correctly. Be aware that it only goes on the schedule printed and if you want to get picked up in the center of Uber, you still have to notify them. It’s really not a regularly scheduled shuttle. Also there is loud construction next-door with drilling and hammering until 9 PM but hopefully this will be completed soon. It only affected the restaurant (very good food and good cultural dancing), the rooms themselves were quite quiet.

Construction noise is constant and I would not have booked had I known this. You can’t at pool and enjoy without hearing major construction happening on both sides. Resort itself is fine. Room was large, bed was fine. Staff was very kind and very attentive . Breakfast was very good. Lunch choices were just ok. You are about 15 min from city center on a Grab bike. My main problem is that if you are expecting a serene setting for your Bali trip this is not it for a while.

I stayed here with my sister and absolutely loved it. We had our own deluxe pool villa and the pool was beautifully maintained. The entire place felt like a peaceful escape, and the complimentary foot massage was honestly so good, I never wanted it to end. The food was healthy, fresh, and so flavorful, especially the floating breakfast, which felt straight out of a dream. The views? Unreal. Jungle paradise vibes all around. There’s a bit of a walk from the villa to the lobby, but we treated it as our mini cardio session. Also, the fruit here was next-level fresh which made me realize how fake some food feels back in the U.S. 😂 Lots of mosquitos tho so pack repellent!

Perfect place to stay. My husband and I recently stood here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The staff was very attentive and so nice. The rooms are very clean and the scenery it even more beautiful. We live our entire stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was super friendly. Grounds were maintained well, and food was decent. I didnt care for the surrounding area...its like you turned off the inner city and into a hotel. Seemed odd that such a nice spot would be in the middle of such confusion. But it was a nice hotel all the same.

I had a wonderful stay at the Sankara resort. It was a great experience provided from the staff from check-in through my check-out. Every staff at all the facilities were great as well. Everyone is always cheerful and never missed a smile or a hello. It was very well maimtained property and the staff made you feel welcomed everytime I came back from my day out. I would stay there again and recommend it for anyone staying in Ubud.

I have to waited for my room for about 15 min even though I got there after the check in time. They didn’t have the welcoming drink ready either. Then the room I was assigned has not hydro and I waited for another 15 minutes until I was assigned another room. Not a good experience after a long day between flight and traffic.

The property is very beautiful. We just found the room was quite noisy as we were very close to the tennis courts. Also the food in the restaurant was quite bland would prefer to go outside the resort for dinner next time. Staff are very friendly

We left yesterday and I miss the place already :( The staff (front reception, kitchen, housekeeping, garden maintenance, pool guy) so very warm and friendly! The place is tranquil and relaxing with everything you need there, a quaint little coffee shop and humble laundromat are just across the street. The breakfast is 5 a la carte choices of American, continental, Indonesian, Indian and healthy hippy. My husband and I will definitely be back! Thank you so much Sankara staff for making our wedding anniversary so special We stayed in the villa with private pool, which was maintained and cleaned to perfection everyday, the fruit basket was replenished daily too.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel. There was a situation where my flight got changed due to operational reasons so i needed to changed the date of my reservation. I was able to change my date to check in however they refused to refund me for the one night I didnt stay. This is disappointing given the fact that i explained the situation. Location is nice however I would recommend visiting somewhere else. Theres only one restaurant no other options and food could be better.

Beautiful property. We had a pool villa which was well worth it. Only downside is some construction noise from neighboring property (wasn’t too bad, just a bit noticeable) but not the fault of SANKARA. A few good restaurants close to the resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We were so impressed with this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We were upgraded to a villa with a private pool because of our VIP status for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. We loved it so much! The accommodations were beautiful and so comfortable and relaxing. The complimentary a la Carte breakfast was fabulous. The entertainment was fantastic. The spa services were excellent! We were about 10 minutes away from town centre but the free shuttle made it easily accessible. The only issue we found was the area around the resort. There was a lot of construction and a very rowdy resort next door. There are so many places to choose in Bali and we are so happy we chose this one. Would recommend!

Beautiful. Serene. From check in ro check out staff were incredible. Very welcoming. Our room "Bima" was wonderful..the pool, bathroom and bed were great. Breakfast was fantastic, highly recommend rhe "Healthy Breakfast"choice. We also did the floating breakfast and would recommend! The dinner bbq with local music and dancera wa as very enjoyable. The spa service was selightful. Highly recommend and will plan to return.
