Clean. In an odd location, bit of a building site. Balcony couldn’t be used if you wanted to. Would benefit from some blinds or covering at the windows so you could open the shutters as it was quite dark overall. Hair dryer broke, it was spitting sparks. Replaced very quickly but it was a bit concerning and maybe could have been checked. I was drying my hair at the time, it could have caught fire. Otherwise a nice little apartment, well located for Varenna. No photos on hotels.com which is why I downgraded that part, I had to go looking on the Varenna holidays site to find out what it was like
