Aloha and welcome to the idyllic gated community of Hali'i Kai! We're thrilled to introduce you to our exquisite, 180-degree oceanfront condo, where luxury meets affordability, and offers all the indulges, beauty, and relaxation that the Big Island has to offer.

Location: The unit is an top-level unit, with the largest floor plan available in the gated community. The private community includes access to tennis courts, a sport court, a scenic pool, a sand-bottom jacuzzi, and a fully-equipped open air gym. In addition to being oceanfront, Building 15 is an end unit within the complex, ensuring the peace and quiet necessary for relaxation and rejuvenation. The double-lanais provide magnificent sunset views, along with once-in-a-lifetime whale watching opportunities. The salty, Pacific breeze rustling through the palm trees, coupled with the ocean splashing against the lava rocks provide a tranquil background for your evening on the deck, with your Mai Tai, watching the sun dip into the ocean. Just steps away from the two award-winning golf courses and the private Hali’i Kai Ocean Club, the condo is located in a convenient, yet secluded location.

Interior: Our home was decorated to ensure that guests feel immersed in the true Hawaiian spirit. With beautiful mahogany and bamboo lining the interior, the condo truly provides a feeling of indulgence. Oil paintings by local artists decorate the walls, and the furnishings echo the Hawaiian culture.

The spacious first floor ushers you in with a warm, Big Island “Aloha!” The kitchen includes granite counter-tops and top-notch stainless steel appliances with all the essential kitchen tools and supplies. In addition to bar-top seating, the dining room includes a large table to comfortably accommodate six. The living room area includes a plush couch, two recliners, and a large flat screen TV, complete with cable. Off the living room is a lanai that offers comfortable chairs and a table to dine at. On this same floor is our laundry room that is fully-stocked with all of your washing and drying essentials and supplies. The front bedroom includes a Heavenly comfortable Queen bed. The ground-floor bathroom, with a full bath/shower and granite counter tops, is also fully-stocked with island toiletries for all of your pampering needs.

The second level of the house has 2 bedrooms. The "Volcano Room" (so called because it has a view of 4 of the 5 volcanos on our island) is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a large dresser and closet for your storing needs.. A Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillows, rich linens, and an overhead fan help provide you with all of the comfort you could imagine. The upstairs bathroom also includes granite countertops and a high-powered shower to feel fully cleansed after a day at the beach.
The master bedroom is truly a sight to behold. The Tempur-Pedic king bed opens up to the top floor lanai, which puts a whole new meaning to the phrase, “rise and shine”. During whale watching season, you can lie in bed and hear the whales calling to one another, while watching them breach and splash in the azure waters. With plenty of storage for clothes, a flat-screen TV, and a full master bathroom with dual sinks, a jacuzzi bath and full shower, the master bedroom is the quintessential definition of the lap of luxury.

As added amenities, the condo also includes free high-speed WiFi, hairdryers, bath and beach towels, beach chairs to help make your experience complete.
Amenities: Our home is located feet away from the Ocean Club, Hali’i Kai’s private oceanfront clubhouse. The clubhouse includes a picturesque, multi-leveled lagoon style pool, with sweeping views of the Pacific. Plenty of lounge chairs and aqua loungers line the pool deck, and the concierge desk offers towels and ice cold lemon water to make your lounging experience relaxing and enjoyable. The pool area also includes a sand-bottom Jacuzzi, well-maintained restroom facilities, an outdoor showering area, outdoor BBQs, and an undercover sitting area providing the ideal atmosphere for enjoying a good book. The Ocean Club also serves up lunch and dinner at the Ocean Bar and Grill. The friendly bartenders provide excellent service (try the ahi poke and the lava flow) and are also a wealth of knowledge, providing insider perspective on restaurants and activities on the island. If you crave a sweat session to start the day off on the right foot, the open air, newly-renovated gym cannot be matched. Treadmills, elliptical machines, and exercise bikes, along with a full rack of free weights provide an excellent workout, while taking in the serene ocean views. Whether your intention is to sip on a tropical drink poolside, or play with the family in the rejuvenating, saltwater pool, the Ocean Club is the perfect place to spend your vacation. The grounds also include tennis courts and a sport court, for those who crave a bit more action.

The Area: Hali’I Kai is an oceanfront gated community located on the Kohala Coast. This unique residential area is just 18 miles away from the Kona airport and is easily accessible off the main highway. Nestled within the Waikoloa Beach Resort area is this ideal spot for either a romantic vacation with your significant other or a memorable family trip. With Mauna Kea looming in the background and the breathtaking Pacific Ocean out the front window, the location is both unique and welcoming. Directly outside the Ocean Club, the “Trail by the Sea” will take you on a leisurely stroll to the Hilton Waikoloa, where you can enjoy a number of amenities and restaurants. Continuing on the trail, you will eventually come to Anaeho’omalu Bay, where you can spend the afternoon playing on the beach or snorkeling in the warm waters. Just minutes down the highway is the gorgeous Hapuna Beach, offering another opportunity to splash around in the clear ocean.
The Waikoloa Beach Resort also has a number of delicious restaurants that serve up fresh cuisine and island inspired bites to delight your taste buds. For the golf fans, the resort area has two 18-hole golf courses, that include pristine views of the Pacific. The King’s Shops and Queen’s Marketplace provide plenty of shopping opportunities, whether you desire a new bathing suit or an authentic Hawaiian ukulele. Island Gourmet Market, located within the Queen’s Marketplace, will satisfy all of your grocery needs while on the island.

In actuality, you could potentially spend your entire vacation within the Waikoloa Beach Resort vicinity, and have all of your wants and needs satisfied. Although, if you desire some action and adventure, we highly recommend you take the time to see all that the beautiful Big Island has to offer.

IMPORTANT: Please know that the Hali'i Kai neighborhood requires all rental parties regardless of unit to pay a $25 per day during the check in process when you arrive. This fee is assessed on a per group basis. Once paid, you will get your key cards to access all facilities on the property. This fee is per group and not per person. This cost is to help cover the constant grounds maintenance, and private pool, gym, and restaurant repairs and upkeep. This cost is controlled and collected by the Home Owners Association during check in and applies to all units inside of the neighborhood.
