Our stay was very disappointing due to the condition of the home upon arrival. Cleanliness was a major issue—floors were dirty, and under the beds appeared to have not been cleaned in a long time.There were also several functional problems. The lower-level refrigerator was not working, which is a major inconvenience for a group of seven staying a full week. The washing machine downstairs contained stagnant water and a blanket, and when opened, it produced a foul odor that spread throughout the house.Basic necessities were missing. There was no soap in the showers, no dishwashing supplies, and we had to purchase hangers and replace the batteries in the front door lock. The front door does not seal properly, causing a noticeable draft unless the deadbolt is locked at all times.While communication from the property manager was initially good, we were promised supplies and reimbursement for our purchases and inconvenience—neither of which happened.Overall, this was not an acceptable experience. The home needs significant attention before it should be rented again. We believe a reimbursement of at least half of our stay is warranted.
