A Good Place to Stay

It was good. The host was very kind and gracious. The breakfast was excellent! The location was great--less than a mile from The Ark Encounter where we visited. But we found the lighting to be inadequate and the shower curtain was about 8 inches too long. It was a cloth curtain and it hung into the water.

The hotel was quiet and good enough for the intended goal. We stayed 2 nights. We wanted to be close to THE ARK. The bed and pillows were comfortable .The room was clean but the bathroom looked dirty, because it needs to be re painted. The bathroom is VERY small. The room air conditioner needs work. It had trouble cooling the room especially after a shower. The bathroom doesn't have good ventilation and the whole room stays damp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is "grab and go" and satisfactory. The only hot option is a waffle. Overall, a good stay and would stay again in future

The room looked exactly like what was advertised. The continental breakfast was very good and kept clean. Make reservations because this place was full the two nights that we were there. I would stay here again.

The room that I stayed in the bathroom is very small, but there is no room to expand, the sink to brush your teeth is outside of the bathroom. The only room you have in the bathroom is to get undressed and get in the shower. The toilet we had to hold down to get it to flush. The beds were very clean. It’s a good place if you are just sleeping not a place to hang out very long.

The check in and front desk personnel were great and the large room had everything we needed. The location is excellent for walking to the Ark Encounter. The beds were firm and comfortable. Sadly, the property is old and although everything worked well, it had broken bathroom tiles and doors that stuck. The breakfast was satisfying and at no extra charge. Parking was ample. People were friendly.

Perfect place to stay if visiting The Ark Encounter. It was no problem to leave our vehicle at the motel and walk across the street to the Ark, avoiding the parking fee there.

The room was clean and stocked with bathroom essentials, but it was very humid in the room to where our towels soured and did not dry. They did provide fresh towels when we walked down to the office and requested them. When checking in with my service dog they tried to charge me an animal fee and asked I not bring her to breakfast both are illegal.

We have stayed there a few times. We hoped it would be new rooms not just remodeled for the price they now are charging. We will stay again. Loved the waffles in the morning. Very nice to just drive across the road to the Ark Encounter.
