Front desk was very kind and responsive. The staff on our floor were equally friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and had a nice view of the river. The hotel is super convenient, near the tram, buses and train station. Fabulous shopping in every direction.

Location! Location! Location! Central Plaza Hotel is central to everything in Zurich indeed. Room was clean and comfortable, perfect for rest after a busy day. The breakfast staff were nice every time I went in to enjoy the restaurant.

The hotel is great however the staff would benefit from additional training in customer service particularly in comprehending English more clearer. We encountered a disappointing situation when booking an excursion through the hotel. Despite receiving confirmation from both the front desk and the manager that the activity would operate as scheduled, it was later canceled due to inclement weather. When we raised the issue, we were told we had misunderstood and were refused a reimbursement. This response was unacceptable and disheartening especially since we had read similar negative experiences in previous reviews but chose to give the hotel a chance. There was a clear lack of accountability which was very disappointing given our initial expectations. Switzerland is a beautiful country so it was unfortunate that we encountered such a situation for the first time given we’re frequent travelers.
