Lovely hotel and a really convenient location, right in the heart of Zurich. The staff were great, facilities excellent. The only gripe was the size of the room, it was really small and the layout was not great. We were only there for 2 nights, any longer and I think we'd have struggled with the lack of space.

6/10 Okay

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms small (which I like), more like a dorm room or institutional lodging. Serviceable, but no frills. The door to the bathroom is frosted glass which doesn't allow for much privacy. Also an exhaust fan would be welcome. Linens were clean and seemed pretty new. Bed European style, can be a bit unforgiving for American tastes. Lacking anywhere to sit in the room, it would have been nice to have extra pillows. The Old Town area was listed as "charming" and great for night life. Lots of shops and bars. Great access to the train station and public transportation, but a bit dingy and a bit sketchy for an old guy like me. Lots of smokers too, if that is something you're looking to avoid. I'd stay in the hotel again, but not in that area again, if that makes sense.
