Room very basic. Only got fresh towels .. asked for wash clothes but said they didn’t have them. Room dark. Missing lights. Some fixtures barely holding in wall.

We loved our outdoor balcony that looked over the courtyard. At night the bats would fly through the palms. We didn’t have blankets on our bed the first night I had to ask for them the next morning.

Hotel common areas are nice but the rooms are really old/out of date. Seems like something out of the early 2000s. Room smelled like mold. Had to blast the AC to remove the mold smell, making the room really cold. I requested to be moved rooms but they didn’t have anything else available. Booked 4 nights, couldn’t stay more than 1 night due to the smell. Had to find another accommodation

Very bad hotel with rude staff , filled with bugs and it’s very old and outdated . The rooms were very dirty and smelled . Don’t recommend this hotel .

Please research before booking at the palms . By far the worst experience at a hotel! Hotel staff is extremely rude almost as if we bothered them while staying here. Soon as you check in they give you a long page of things you cannot do and the staff does not welcome you nor do they inform you of how things work around the hotel “ example the wifi , how to make room request or access the pool,restaurant or to access hotel after curtain hours ”. We arrived at 11am and were told we had to wait until 3pm to get our room , once we got the room we were discouraged on the poor condition the room was , no microwave, no fridge , no waters , no tv in living room ,the sheets were dirty and smelled so bad not to mention the bed was old sagging and wear down , furniture all broken and restroom smells like backed up sewer. Room had so many bugs and mosquitoes I could not sleep at night from all the bites . Second day while showering the towel shelf broke off and almost hit me in the head luckily I moved quick , when I informed the staff it was almost as if I told them a lie they did not care . No phone service and WiFi is horrible ! Tv channels are not available . Another big tip they will charge you for everything and all there towels and blankets are old and don’t want you to get them dirty even after the sheets are all dirty and stained . This hotel is in such bad shape and I do not recommend . Photos on the website are not recently taken rooms look very old.

The staff is extremely arrogant and is oblivious to customer needs. The room had no microwave, no fridge and no water bottles were given except on the first day of arrival. The swimming pool is as good as non existent. Jacuzzi was out of order. They could not provide us with a bottle opener or with ice. The room cleaning was sporadic and not done everyday. Except for the central location and comfortable beds, this hotel does not have anything else going for it.
