Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
"Location location location. Only 2nd time in Japan and I stayed here both times for 2 of my Tokyo stays. The hotel is in the heart of the bustling area of Shinjuku surrounded by food and entertainment. Also since it’s so tall it’s very easy to get back to after a night in golden gai. The 7/11 in ..."

The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Haneda Airport Terminal 3
"The room was conveniently located in Terminal 3. The bed was too hard and the pillows were only soft on one side. This was my only complaint! The price could not be beat anywhere for a hotel in an airport! This would have cost close to $500 a night in the USA."

The 7/11 in the same building is extremely helpful, we got breakfast and late night snacks there every day. I 100% would recommend this for a first time visit to Tokyo. Been to 8 different hotels and stays and while it’s true that hotels in Japan are small, these rooms were very small. Not capsule hotel small but small. However part of the reason for this is the large bathroom which include a wet room set up and tub. (Hence why we re boooked it for our 2nd visit) The staff is friendly and great at English and the luggage fowarding service in the lobby was excellent/ highly reccomend. Rooms could use a LITTLE TLC because of some dis coloring on the couch and some rooms having a slight odor that usually goes away quickly but that’s really nit picking. 9.2-10 would recommend and will prob stay again"
