We chose this hotel for the location. It is definitely in the middle of everything in shinjuku. We chose to book thru expedia for safety of mind in case we needed to cancel. The lobby is on the 8th floor, so there will always be 2 elevators to enter or exit. The elevators for the rest of the hotel are split and you don't really have to wait long. Check in, check out, instructions and help to find a company to fix my glasses, laundry - all were dealt with very professionally and friendly. the room was pretty spacious, separate toilet room, show room and the sink is outside. We faced the Tokyu Kabukicho tower, and the quad below, where events were held often and we could hear some of it, and they quieted down by 10pm. There is a starbucks in that tower. The screen on that building also shuts off by 10. Within the hotel tower there are many shows, including a very nice sushi joint. It is extremely walkable to shinjuku station and lots of other parts of town. The 7-11 is accessible from within the

We asked the staff on a Monday when we needed to forward our luggage to get it to the airport for our flight the following Saturday. They told us it would get there overnight so Friday would work. Come to find out, that’s only to the closer airport, not Narita. So when we came to ship it Friday morning we were informed it wouldn’t get there until Sunday, which was after our flight. We ended up having to take a taxi which cost $200. Had they just asked the question which airport are you going to. We would have known that we needed to do it sooner and could have avoided this. Besides that, the staff just wasn’t as friendly or helpful as other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Japan. The room was fine. It was clean.

Loved the hotel and the staff was amazing. Rooms were very clean. The area around the hotel can be a bit busy with the night but it’s safe and cleaned up every morning. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Room was small but extremely comfortable. Pajamas were provided as well as basic toiletries. I loved the all white bedding as you always know it’s clean. Bed was too firm for my liking but that’s just personal preference.

I was really disappointed with my stay at Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku. The area felt a bit sketchy, which made me uncomfortable walking around, especially at night, the “idol girls” that are lined up on the street outside the hotel, trying to get you to pay to have pictures taken with them, gave off an ick feeling. The room itself was basic, towels were awful, practically threadbare and you can hear the noise from the streets. I would not recommend.

The hotel is really awesome and we got a kick out of staying on the Godzilla floor. The only knock on it is the area. It is in maybe the seediest part of Tokyo and it’s very busy at all hours in the surrounding area.

In a central part of Tokyo with lots of restaurants and nightlife. In retrospect, I wished we had chosen a place a bit more off the beaten track. However, the room was quiet yet snug. The double bed was up against the wall with a window so it was hard to get up in the middle of the night without disturbing my partner. Staff were courteous. We did not have breakfast included but it would have been in the Sizzler Restaurant on the ground floor. It would have been nice to have been able to get coffee in the lobby in the morning but Starbucks was as block away.
