I feel conflicted writing this review. Upon checking in, there was no hot water. I messaged our host immediately and was given minimal instructions on getting the pilot light on the water heater restarted. It was frustrating not having any hot water until the following morning. Jump ahead a day, and one of the showers would not turn off. The knob would just spin and spin. We turned off the main water to the house and messaged the host to address the issue before we returned in the evening. Thankfully it was addressed and everything was in working order upon coming back to the house.

Communication was excellent with host and we were able to check in early. The house is close to Disneyland but it would be a bit of a walk to get there due to the route you’d have to take to get there. It suited our needs perfectly.

Spacious, comfortable home. Great location for visiting Disneyland or the California beaches or exploring Orange county. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of towels, kitchen is great too. You can see the Disneyland fireworks from the back yard, they are so close you feel like you are in the front row. Amazing restaurants within 15 minutes in any direction. Uber was less than 5 minute wait.

The size of the house and proximity to Disneyland are wonderful. The house could use some tlc. Some of the cabinet doors are loose and the grill doesn't work correctly.

Destination Disneyland

Stayed 3 nights at the W Beacon Property for a Family Disney mini vacay. The property was nice with lots of space. We were a family of 7 and definitely could easily accommodate the 10 person occupancy. Nice to have private garage parking. My only complaint would be the walking distance to Disneyland. It is a little farther than expected. We had to drive and park in the Disneyland garage. Too far walking when traveling with kids. The property is close but you have to walk around a mile and half because it’s not a straight shot.

What a disappointment


Maybe I had high expectations because the majority of the reviews are 10/10 Excellent. So I went in thinking this will be an Excellent home for my family of 7 (6 adults, 1 infant). The first red flag was when I had to ask again to be sure a pack n play would be in the home and I was originally told before I booked the home one would be there to use, I was then told after booking there was a fee. Pros:Waived pack n play fee after disputingLocation was very convenient for us including a short walk to DisneyWe didn’t have to put garbage cans out or bring them in as instructed to doBeautiful lemon tree with very large lemonsCons:No hot water on arrival- had to text the owner several times and when no response after 2 hours I asked if I needed to make other arrangements for our stay-received a response and handyman was there within an hourBatteries missing in smoke detector in bunk bed roomHouse is dirty- needs a deep clean, badlyBlankets & sheets on all of the beds were dirtyBeds are not comfortable Bugs in cups in cupboard Every dish we pulled out to use was dirtyDishwasher is not anchoredMusty smell in housePillows on couch smell like B.O.Majority of outlets in house don’t work or are looseWalked in to a broom and squeegee in the entry wayDirty sheets left on kitchen floorMold on bathroom ceilingBBQ Grill does not work-gas tank empty?I’m a travel agent and would never recommend this house to a client. Location

Traveled to Disney with 5 adults and a 5 year old. The house is perfect proximity to the parks for an active family
a short 15-20 minute walk right to the entrances. The house provided plenty of space for all of us to have our own beds and the three bathrooms were a plus. There were plenty of towels and the bathrooms were clean and nice. All of the tvs worked well. The kitchen and living area was spacious and although we did not use the backyard area, it is large and well kept. There were plenty of dishes and cups, and pots and pans for cooking. A few negatives for me
the house has an odd odor, possibly mildew from the rugs? Not sure. The pillows on the couch and a few on the beds also smelled like body odor/mildew and need to be replaced. The overhead light in the kitchen is broken which makes it seem very dark while trying to cook. The dishwasher is literally tipping out of the counter when you open it. These things could use some attention. Overall, a great family vacation. Thank you.

Great Anaheim Stay

From start to finish this was a great stay for the Disney Parks. The house is located about 20 minutes from parks, walking and about a 5 minute Uber or Cab ride. We enjoyed the nightly fireworks, pool table, comfy beds and the owner is fantastic. The neighbors are very friendly and it is in a very safe and lovely neighborhood. Clean, beautiful home, super close to Disneyland. Our whole family loved staying here and the kids didn’t want to leave. They loved running around the large backyard and playing pool! Will definitely book again in the future.
