"This is my utmost pleasure to review about this gem of a hotel in Prague quarter where I grew up. I stayed in Mama Shelter in April 2025 for more than a week and every day was a joy to return to the hotel after a long day out and about. The reception is open 24 hours and Mr. Matěj, who was checking me in was very friendly, kind and efficient. I was also lucky that he was checking me out at my departure. The room cleaning was absolutely immaculate and regular every day, and the bed and bedding had a luxurious feel. The room was very quiet and you didn't hear any commotions/noise from neighbouring rooms. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect and central and get you quickly to every part of Prague. My sincere thank you to all cleaning ladies, to all staff and to Mr. Matěj at the reception to make my stay so special. I certainly will be coming again, hopefully soon!"

"This is a great place for travelers. The staff is friendly and helpful, there's a corner store near by if you feel for a bag of chips, and there's a pool with a sauna. I have absolutely no complaints other than figuring out the currency to pay for laundry. "

"The Kings Residence was an en excellent hotel, very convenient for the tram and metro and only a few stops away from "Old Town" Prague. The breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and clean, toilet and shower room were small but adequate for us. (could have been difficult for a larger person). The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend and definitely stay there again. "
