It is very aptly named! The view from the rooftop lounge is truly spectacular! And the staff are all lovely: very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to Athens.

We had a great experience at the Acropolis View Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us dining recommendations and maps and helped us arrange transportation to the airport. The hotel has a fantastic location one block from the Acropolis and has an incredible rooftop view. They offer a tasty breakfast on the roof. The room was comfortable with a view of the Acropolis from our balcony. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and has many restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay there again.

Nice location close to Acropolis. One of the two of you can see the Acropolis from the tiny balcony looking to the side but not both at the same time. The top floor breakfast area has a stunning view of the Acropolis although we had to leave before the 7am breakfast. It didn’t seem anyone had been in our room for a while because it smelled of sewage when we entered. Running the shower for a few minutes seemed to clear it up but it wasn’t a great first impression. It was fine for one night before flying out of Greece but I would have been disappointed if we were staying longer and booked based on the Expedia description and hotel name. A bit misleading.

Great room, location wasn’t my favorite

Nice hotel with truly awesome staff who made us feel very welcome. It’s super convenient for visiting the Acropolis—just a short walk away—which was great for us. The only downside was that the immediate area didn’t have as many fun restaurants or bars compared to other parts of Athens. Still, it’s a solid stay if you’re here mainly to explore the historical sites.

Other than having an amazing location and view, the front staff is excellent, incredibly helpful and accommodating. I will absolutely stay here again if ever traveling through Athens.

The hotel was close to everything. The roof top view can't be beat. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Rooms are a little small but very clean and welcoming. Since we were leaving before breakfast was served, they packed us up little boxes to take with us.
