➤ THE LOCATION:

The Ramblin Cottage sits in Atlanta’s historic West End: a vibrant, diverse, and rapidly growing neighborhood. Many homes nearby have been beautifully renovated, and exciting new projects are bringing fresh energy to the area.

One guest summed it up perfectly:

"Atlanta’s West End is an up-and-coming community. The people and neighborhoods are diverse in every way—racially, economically, and socially. If that makes you uncomfortable, the suburbs may be a better fit. But if you embrace it, this is the place for you! Our stay was super quiet and peaceful the whole time." – Meredith, November 2022

Like many intown Atlanta neighborhoods, you may occasionally encounter individuals from different walks of life. While this is part of the character and authenticity of the West End, the home itself offers plenty of peace of mind with a fully fenced yard, gated driveway, and outdoor security cameras (viewable inside on a tablet). The community is a mix of young professionals (including a Georgia Tech professor), retired couples, and a sweet next-door neighbor who’s lived here most of her life - she knows everyone, keeps the neighborhood in check, and adds a touch of charm to the block.

For your awareness: The front yard has a decorative wrought-iron-style fence, which small dogs might be able to escape through. The backyard is fully fenced with a privacy fence.

The apartment is closed off from the downstairs area, with a separate outside entrance (similar to a Duplex).
