Overnight stay at Semi Ah Moo Resort

We were very dissatisfied with the room assigned to us. We booked a "Bay View" room at a substantial cost to us for I day. It was my wife's birthday. We expected to be provided with a room with a panoramic view of the bay. Instead we were assigned a room with rather small windows which provided at best only a limited view of the bay. We asked to upgrade but were advised that there were no upgrades available. We have written a letter to the manager of the resort (delivered on our departure from the resort) but he has not responded. In my opinion when a hotel advertises "bay view" the related rooms should live up to the expectation that a highlight of the room is its view of the bay - rather than the "bay view" being an incidental characteristic of the room.

I did payed for room in first floor with the window and door facing to the water view but when we arrived they gave us room on the third floor. Please be accurate me and my husband expecting what we paid for, thanks! Other than that it’s very clean and peaceful place.

It is quiet, easy to park (free), lovely setting, great views, nice sitting areas, fun meals (dinner and breakfast) and a great little get away from Whidbey Island or Seattle.

Beautiful views, away from the hustle and bustle. Bird poop all over the window, partially cleaned floor, did not prep room early as requested on more than one occasion, room was WAY overpriced for "old" room.

Resort was great and so was the staff. We just missed Microwave and fridge in our room :). But overall stay was good

Great Experience

I travel to Semiahoo for a business conference. The staff was very attentive and great. The only instance of any concern was one restaurant had a staffing issue the night before the conference. This was quickly corrected. The staff made the experience amazing.
