Welcome to this beautiful 900 square foot daylight basement apartment with 9' ceilings. This spacious apartment is on the lower level of the main house. It is completely separate with its own covered entrance. Located in South Bellingham within minutes to parks, trails, beaches, shopping and WWU. Galbraith trailheads are 2.3 miles away for those who enjoy mountain biking. For walking, hiking or running we have many options including Lake Padden, Whatcom Falls, Interurban Trail, and Boulevard Park all within minutes of our home.

Our family resides above the apartment with our own separate entrance. With a simple call or text during your stay we can assist with any questions or issues you have. We understand if you require your privacy and we will make sure to accommodate. We hope you enjoy your stay in this neighborhood that provides both privacy and a wide array of access to Bellingham's small town amenities.

Peaceful and pleasant!
This basement apartment is spacious, quiet, comfortable and very well appointed. The common room had comfy sofas and a nice table for working or playing games (many board/card games are provided). The two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and had good closet and dresser space. The bathroom was pleasant and included a washer/dryer unit. The kitchenette had a couple different coffee makers, a nice sink, a fridge, microwave and a few other useful appliances. The back yard had a pickleball/basketball court and a lovely garden. Jennifer made it easy to check in and made sure lights were on for our late arrival. Everything was nicely labeled and she provided lots of great information and guides for exploring the area. Thank you for a great stay!

I am an 85-year-old woman, with bad knees, traveling alone. The hosts were absolutely incredible! They watched out for me and made sure I was safe and comfortable. They treated me like I was their beloved grandmother. Wonderful people! The apartment was lovely and beautifully appointed. The setting was very nice – woodsy and quiet. The checking-in process was difficult for me, only due to my lack of technological skills. I highly recommend this charming 2 bedroom Vrbo to anyone! I would definitely stay there again, when visiting Bellingham.

Quiet, Beautiful Stay
5+ star rating! From booking, the communication, kindness and quietness of the location, our weekend in Bellingham was wonderful. The location is so close to WWU (5minutes), and is set in a tranquil residential neighborhood. Close to shopping, restaurants and I-5. Clear communication and the owner was always prompt getting back to me. The two bedroom space has everything that you might need! From coffee, to Advil. We loved the living room that had a warm gas stove that kept our place cozy. We had a great time making memories together! We highly recommend this this owner and place for a girls/parents/family weekend.

Came to run a beautifully difficult race. This place did an amazing job at paying attention to all the small details such as providing shampoo, phone chargers, coffee and cream, fridge, bathroom poo-pourri, sandwich baggies, etc. that help make a trip extra relaxing.

I booked this place for a couple of our guys that were working out of town. The host could not have been any nicer. I kept her updated on my guys work schedule since they were going to be working a 2pm to 11pm shift. I wanted to be sure that they were not being disruptive. She was very nice and let me know that the guys were not a problem at all. We will be doing more work up in that area and I will definitely book with them again!

Visit to family in Bellingham
Cozy, comfortable 2 bdrm unit attached to a home. Was very quiet and clean. The gas fireplace made it very comfortable if it was chilly. Very comfortable beds too! Hope to stay there again. Only surprise is that there is not a full kitchen. There is not a stove or oven. The host was quick to respond and very pleasant !
