Beautiful lake house on Lake Champlain!

Enjoy spending time with family and friends in the great room with a Panton stone fireplace, every seat with a view out the large windows. Read a book on the covered deck or enjoy dining al fresco with the lake as your backdrop. BBQ, play games on the flat lawn, relax by the fire pit, fish, explore, so much to do. You are less than two miles from Basin Harbor Club, which offers tennis, boat rental, a championship golf course, restaurants and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. Drive 10 minutes into Vergennes for shopping, dining, an art gallery, antiques, bakery, library, churches, farmer’s market and a chocolatier, Daily Chocolate, a cannot miss for the chocolate lover! Burlington is 30 minutes north and Middlebury is 30 minutes south. Each with breweries to visit and too many events to name.

The home’s kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking pleasure. Linens and towels are provided with full use of the washer and dryer. See below for a detailed list of amenities.

Convenient one level living. Each bedroom has a lake view. The master has a queen bed with adjoining full bath. Guest wing with a queen bedroom and seating area for viewing DVDs and relaxing as well as a third bedroom with two twin beds share the second full bath. The seasonal bunkhouse has a twin over full bunk bed. Seasonal dock available July through October.

Amazing place

Let me tell you, this house is amazing. We spent a long weekend and the porch is amazing, the living room is amazing, the kitchen is great and the views are hard to leave. I even caught a northern pike right off the rocks right out the back door. We will be back for sure!

A beautiful lake front home

My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Mary's lakefront home. The views were amazing and we spent a lot of time out on the deck or by the water just soaking in the view of Lake Champlain. The house was spotless and kitchen fully stocked. Also so close to Middlebury, and Vergennes, and not too far to explore Burlington and Stow as day trips. Highely recommend staying here!

Beautiful home on Lake Champlain

This house is so beautiful, and the location is just amazing. The large porch facing the lake, wow. Watching the morning fog on the lake is amazing. And the kids loved playing on the dock and rocks. The house is one floor, but very long with a large main room, the kids had so much fun running around the space! To note, there's only 1 tv and its in one of the, large, bedrooms and has a small couch and chair in there. The kitchen was stocked with essentials for cooking. Beds and linens were comfy. They even have a queen air mattress and linens we were able to use. We mainly stayed to attend a wedding at Basin Harbor, which was 5 mins away, so it was perfect! The host was quick to respond with anything we needed (even when she was in Europe! and provided a local # if needed). Would love to return sometime.

Vergennes Wedding Weekend

Stayed here with a small group of friends for a wedding this autumn, 5 of us total. The house was wonderful. Great living area with views of the lake, kitchen, and clean throughout. Instructions were posted centrally in the kitchen. Recommend a suv or a car with some height for the drive in since there are a few bumps on the road to get to the house, but the place has everything you need. Hopefully we'll be back to use the kayak some summer!

Location of the property was excellent. We attended a wedding at Basin Harbor and it was super convenient to all wedding activities. The house was perfect for our family of five adults. The lake was so peaceful and viewing the stars at night was our favorite activity.

Another Amazing Stay on Champlain

This was our 4th visit to this property. Access to the lake is unbeatable as you are right on top of it. You can fish, boat, relax, swim, etc. Sunsets are beautiful as the house is facing west. Vergennes is 18 minutes away and cute as can be. Host is responsive and accommodating. We will be back for a 5th stay in 2025!

It is a beautiful property with access to the lake. Kitchen was good.. Living Room had a nice view of the lake. The ladder to the lake needed one more step for me. It was very difficult to get onto the ladder so I could get out of the lake. Also on the last evening and day we had no electricity or water. It would have been great of the property had a generattor.
