We considered spending more on a bigger place but were encouraged by the reviews. We were two couples and it was plenty of space for us. Beds were comfy and the AC as cold as we needed it, a must for the hot nights. Parking convenient. Apartment clean. Pretty quiet at night aside from a few cars revving their engines. Would definitely recommend if you're planning to be out and about during your stay.
Our trip to Burlington was perfect! Weather cooperated although hot! Walk anywhere from Maple street, close to Church St. and waterfront. Maple Street was clean, cozy and quiet! Good neighborhood too! Erin was veryResponsive for any questions.
My sister and I were in Burlington on an annual "sister trip".The apartment was clean and in a great location in regards to downtown Burlington. The neighborhood was quiet in the evening, but there was a lot of traffic on the street during the day.The only blip in our stay was the parking situation. The host knew we were traveling in 2 cars and would need to be able to park them both safely. The host assured me there "is free street parking out front". I wish she had been more specific, and that the free parking was on the other side of the street. There is no signage in front of this building and the signage further up the street was blocked by trees. Other than a parking ticket - it was a nice stay.
Property super convenient, short walk to everything on the main strip. Furnished with everything we needed, and host was very communicative and even flexible!
Perfect for our family. Clean, comfortable, and great location. Easy walk to lake and downtown. FYI - The washer and dryer require quarters. 2 for washer and 1.50 for dryer. I missed this in the listing.
we travel frequently to Burlington to visit our college student and try to stay in different rentals. Errins place is wonderful, location can't be beat for downtown Burlington access and is only a few blocks from Champlain College. VERY WALKABLE! Having a designated parking spot behind the house is super convenient. The 2 bedroom apartment is clean, well appointed and has good space. Highly recommend.
Great place to stay with easy access (walkable) to downtown Burlington. Worth noting that laundry is not in the apartment, but rather in a room accessible from outside with a separate code.
The location is perfect... a walking distance to Church Street where coffee shops, friendly pubs and shops are located and close to the bike path at the waterfront.
The beds are comfortable and the shower warm! We would stay here again if our travels takestake is nack to VT.
Location was good, walking distance to Church Street market, brewery and many restaurants including on the water. Overall accommodation was not up to standard for a VRBO. Pillows extremely old and definitely must be replaced. Towels, sheets, blankets and bath mat also old and should be replaced. Has an old college apartment vibe. Furniture on front patio to dirty to use. Overall I was disappointed and would not recommend staying here.
First, the age of our group of 4 was mid sixties to early 70âs. We travel a lot and use VRBO frequently. The best attribute of this rental was its location. As described it is very close to the waterfront and the Church St Market âŠall well within walking distance. As for the rental itselfâŠit is a large, old house that has been converted into 5 apartments. Other renters appear to be mostly college students. The rental is small, maybe 700 sq. feet. Itâs been a long time since anything has been updated. It feels very much like a college apartment I would have rented in my late teens or early twenties. Of course, as described, weâre not that. Pretty much everything is mismatched and has a lot of miles on it (plates, utensils, beds, furniture, etc.) Although the property description claims thereâs a washer and dryer itâs tucked away and largely inaccessible. I believe itâs also coin operated. Lastly, the immediate surrounding area homes are largely unkept and overgrown. Youâre certainty not going to sit on the front porch (which is not clean by the way) and look out at the eyesores across the street. All in all not a great experience and not what I expect when using VRBO.
The three of us really enjoyed our stay at this Maple Street apartment. The place was wonderfully clean and comfortable, and the proximity to all the fun and funky Burlington attractions was perfect. We hope to return, and we'd definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for a few days before dropping our daughter off at UVM. Walkable to the Waterfront and all the cute shops and restaurants around on Church Street. We had a truck load so we drove to the college but walkable as well. We will stay here again for future visits.
Great little getaway - cozy but not cramped, and SUPER accessible to all the downtown Burlington fun. Owner was easy to connect with, and flexible. Would happily stay again!
On a rather busy street, but within walking distance to almost everything Burlington is noted for, including its world class farmers market (and outstanding gelato at Shy Guy just a few yards away). No room to dine, per se, but two quiet, good sized bedrooms with A/C, and a fairly well-equipped kitchenette were more than adequate for a weekend visit. Exterior is on the shabby side, but interior was clean and comfy.
