Welcome to Carmel's Mystic Waves.

Located in Carmel Woods on a large double lot, Mystic Waves compound offers guests a spacious Four (4) Bedroom Home with a One Bedroom Guest House and ample parking as well as easy access to Carmel-by-the-Sea, California Highway One, Pebble Beach and Seventeen Mile Drive.

The Space:
Guests may enter the property from the gate located on the south end of the lot or the parking area on the north side. Some say they feel as if they “have arrived at last” as they enter the 3,069 square foot home and turn into the Great Room with it's contemporary, new furnishings and dark hardwood floors.

Mystic Waves has been updated in 2019, the baths, fixtures and furnishings are new, modern, comfortable and bright. That and six large flat-screen, Smart TV's plus high speed Internet and Wi-Fi will accommodate visitors comfortably. The home is self sustaining with energy efficient solar panels and a LEVEL 2 charging station for an electric car.

We're sorry, you may not bring your adorable pets to this home. This includes service animals as the owners are highly allergic to animals. Anyone found bringing animals into the home will incur an additional $10,000 fee for the stringent cleaning required to make the home habitable again for the property owners.

The Great Room offers guests a comfortable seating areas, and adjoins the elevated Dining area and fully equipped Chef's Kitchen. The Kitchen has quartz counter-tops, shaker cabinetry, classic hardware, Viking appliances and ample pantry space.

Mystic Waves offers guest four generous bedrooms in the front structure with Flat Screen Smart TV's, new beds, luxurious bedding and newly remodeled en suite bathrooms.

A hallway connects the Master bedroom to the two additional upstairs bedrooms, while stairs lead to the 4th Bedroom, Media Room, Game Room, Laundry room and lower parking pad.

An open view terrace fronts this structure, complete with LED lighting. The upstairs deck is home to the Gas Grill, patio furniture and a table with gas firepit.

The freshly updated kitchen features new appliances and is fully equipped to meet either your family chefs or private chefs needs. The kitchen is fully stocked with new cookware, serving ware, dining ware, flat ware...

Mystic Waves also has a brand new Washer and Dryer set in the washroom and an additional, newly constructed bedroom with full bath off the washroom.

The guest House offers visitors a Full-size Bed in the bedroom and a Sleeper Sofa with a pull-out Full size mattress.

Monterey County Ordnance requires we collect Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of rent. Some Vacation Rental websites do not support collection of T.O.T. In those cases, the Tax must be paid directly to Property Manager prior to or upon arrival for all Rentals shorter than 30 Days.

In order to maintain proper security for owners, guests and contractors, the exterior of this property or a neighboring home may have electronic surveillance equipment and the property owners may conduct monitoring and surveillance activities.

The deployment of electronic surveillance is limited to locations that do not violate the reasonable expectations of privacy. We stayed at this wonderful property for a Car Week 2025. Location was absolutely perfect to easily get to The Quail, downtown Carmel and Pebble Beach. The property actually spans the width of the whole block and has ample space for extra cars. The house itself was finally furnished and modern. Loved the ping-pong table and the Peloton!

Close to everything

It is a great property close to everything we wanted to do while we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the meals we planned. Neighbors are closer than I expected, but nothing out of the ordinary. Ample parking both in the front and the rear gated driveway. One of the bedrooms is in a detached structure. Which if you have someone who snores could be a great thing. Super easy access to major roads in the area, and shopping close enough, but not close enough to be bothersome.

This is a great house with plenty of room for my group of 7 and we could have had a few more family members if needed because the house is so big and roomy. The kitchen is great and easy to work with. I would caution anyone with any type of mobility issues because there are lots of steps and sloping floors, so be mindful of that. There is plenty of parking too. The only two negative issues I noticed are the following....the water heater needs to be adjusted because the water gets WAY too hot and you need to be continually adjusting for that so as not to get scolded. Also, the railing at the side steps of the house is coming loose so be careful about putting any weight on it. Other than the that, the house is wonderful. I had a few glitches with Marco, the property manager over confusing check in directions and found that he was quite rude with me. Other than Marco I found the online experience, and check in quite easy and check out was super easy also.

Large Home to Accomodate Family

The home was very clean and had a lovely living area that easily seated 8 comfortably. The upstairs (main area of the house) had 3 bedrooms & 2 baths which accomodated our adult children and grandchild. There was also a bedroom and bath downstairs which was a little more private. The downstairs had a huge TV room / work area with a couch that could seat 10 or more. Also, downstairs was a ping pong table & dartboard, both of which were well used by our family. Parking was plentiful. We did not access the small cottage on the property. The house is a 20 minute walk to Ocean Avenue. Close to pickleball courts and a small playground. It was the perfect spot for our family and we will likely return next year.

Mystic Wavses earns a 👍

My family of eight thoroughly enjoyed a family reunion at Mystic Waves from August 22-25, 25, 2024. The property was very clean and stocked well beyond all of our needs. The area was quiet and the conveniently located. We spent most evenings making family meals, playing billiards, board games and making s’mores just because the house was so comfortable. We initially arrived an hour early and stopped by the property management company, Carmel Coast Estates, who went above and beyond to get us an early entrance to the property. Upon arrival, offered us snacks and water as we had all traveled from afar! They also checked in frequently just to make sure everything was going smoothly. I highly recommend a stay at Mystic Waves!

Really enjoyed the property! The check-in/check-out process was seamless. There were 7 of us staying in the house - so a couple guys slept on couches but plenty of room. Really cool neighborhood too, and we were 15 minutes from anything we wanted to go do.

House worked perfectly for our family get together. Beds all comfy. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. Nicely equipped for eating at home. Plenty of parking for all of our vehicles. Property manager very responsive to our requests. We would definitely choose this house again for another visit.

Great Space!

Took my 17-year-old daughter and three of her friends for two nights. It was a great space for all of us. There is some road noise, but it wasn't an issue for us. And ideally, I'd like to be a little closer to town so as not to use the car, but it was totally fine. I actually walked it one of the mornings. The management company does a great job keeping the place welcoming and super clean and they were great at communicating. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Golf trip!

House was perfect for 5 adults fulfilling a bucket list trip to Peeble Beach. House was awesome and in great location.
