An Excellent Place to Stay in Carmel-by-the-Sea
Our room at the Candlelight Inn was comfortable and spacious. The location was close to everyplace we wanted to visit in Carmel. The quality of the property and the convenient location make this a great place to stay.

King size room with soaking tub did not feel like good value. Pros: the location is great and there were a few nice touches at check-in; off-street parking felt very safe; comfy bed. The cons: water for in-room jetted tub was not hot enough to enjoy, and took forever to fill. "Fireplace" was faux and squeaked. Picture appeared to include a couch, but it was a small loveseat. The bathroom was spacious, but water from the shower got everywhere, and made for a slip. Dirty toilet paper found in toilet that had been sealed as "sanitized". It wasn't bad, but booked for a special occasion, and was expecting more considering the price and high ratings.
