This property is disgusting. The pictures are not an accurate representation of the property. The pool water is so dirty you can’t even see through it, our room smelled like smoke. The carpet is coming up, the carpet is stained, the walls are damaged. Oh and in my breakfast I found a hair in the eggs. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, but the hotel itself could use an overhaul. Would not stay here again or recommend.

First room had dirty laundry in a drawer. The replacement room had a leaking sink, stained carpet and was generaly not clean. Hall ways were dirty and the eggs at breakfast had hairs. Overall a very unpleasant place.

The room smelled like urine. The bed linens were stained and the mattress cover had dark brown stains on the sides. The shower was dirty, the grout had mold and floors were dirty. The pool looked like a pond with scum floating on the top. We were booked for two nights and we left after one. They tried to get us another room , but the linens again were stained, had a cigarette burn in them and black smudges on pillow case. The hotel appears run down and in need of renovations. There is only so much air fresher they can spray

I waited in the lobby for over 20 minutes to get checked in @10:30 pm. The breakfast eggs and sausage were in poor condition (looked like previous days food, that was re-heated!) and there was no fruit or "fresh items" available.

First of all, I want to say that the staff are friendly and helpful. I don’t want my review to reflect on them, because it seems that their short-staffed and despite that, they were kind and did the best they could to accommodate their guests. Our family stayed in 2 rooms for 4 nights. The facility is in need of updating and repairs. We couldn’t use the fitness room because the AC was out and it was a balmy 84* with no windows. The carpeting all over the property (rooms and common areas) are in serious need of cleaning, The grounds around the hotel had a good bit of trash. The comforter was torn and missing its stuffing. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices, including eggs, sausage and potatoes, yogurt, and baked goods. I have stayed at this brand of hotel and seen much better quality in their furniture and facilities, so it was a bit disappointing.

BATES Motel w/musty smell

Do NOT stay at this hotel, it lingers with a mold or musty smell. The mattress covers were stained, which looked like blood. Whether it was or not, it was not acceptable. This hotel seems to be a older hotel that someone put money into with the idea what they put in would be enough, well its NOT! There's definitely more work to be done. I stayed here and had to leave! DO NOT STAY HERE ....someone said there's a Marriott next door, I would look there or book in a new area.

It was comfortable. It smelled bad. Especially our room! I compared the smell to a boys stinky locker room. I think it’s related to the old carpet. It did say there was a hot tub but we never saw that. The indoor “heated” pool was pretty chilly and dingy. The location is good. Price was the best thing about the stay!

Saturday morning the front desk clerk was working by himself also handling the breakfast area. He did a wonderful job and was very pleasant no matter the circumstances. However, Friday evening when we checked in, there was a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain, the toilet handle is installed upside down which took a few minutes to figure out how to flush the toilet and the pool area had wet towels on the floor and chairs and no clean towels for us to use. I was not impressed upon arrival. Overall, it was a decent stay but not what I was expecting.
