This spacious 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom rental unit offers a comfortable and stylish stay for your visit to the heart of the city. There is one King bedroom, while the three others have cozy queen beds. Immerse yourself in all of the restaurants, shops, and bars, all within a short walk.

The Neighborhood:

The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

- This unit is in a shared house and you should expect to hear some noise from other guests downstairs.

- The house is 140 years old and sits on the sidewalk, like most Charleston houses, so you will hear some street noise. We do have sound machines in each bedroom.

- The shower in the bathroom in the front bedroom is on the smaller size and may not be comfortable for some people.

- The refrigerator and stove in the kitchen are smaller than standard size (24")

- The tub in the back bedroom is a claw foot tub and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

- The unit includes access to the upstairs porch with rocking chairs and a joggle board but there is a noise ordinance in Charleston starting at 10PM. We do ask that you are considerate of our guests staying downstairs and in the cottage next door, thanks!

- This rental is located in downtown Charleston and with that will come city noise.

- Parking is not permitted in the dedicated lot on Sundays from 8am-3pm.

Centrally located old house

The property was very clean and updated. Stairs were extremely hard to navigate w suitcases. Parking was a little inconvenient w trying to roll luggage through gravel. I do appreciate having parking, everything in Charleston is difficult and expensive as far as parking goes .The beds were very comfortable and having coffee available was very nice.

Great location and ease of use

Loved being able to walk 2 blocks to use the city bus that gets you to all the main attractions for free. No driving and parking hassle. There are many cool places to eat within walking distance. Also loved coming home after a full day and sitting on the rocking chairs on the veranda. We felt fortunate to find this property.

Our time in Charleston

We decided to meet in Charleston for a few day get away. Our daughter and fiancé flew in from NJ and we drove from NC. The rental was a perfect size and we spent a lot of time on the rockers on the porch!It was a short walk to King St., where there are many restaurants and shops. All in all, a perfect weekend!

A great Charleston getaway

We loved staying at this lovely vacation rental. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was so easy to walk everywhere! Parking was easy too. The home is old so the layout is quirky and it was fine for just the two of us. It was a little loud but we turned on the bathroom fan to sleep and we were fine. More than we needed but perfect for our 3 nights in town. Would stay there again:) Communication from our host was fabulous. Thanks for a great stay!

The property was ok. The bathrooms were adequate but left much to be desired. Did not provide enough towels and washcloths. Shower had gaps on both sides of the door that let water leak and if you are a big man or woman it will be extremely difficult to fit in the shower.

Ideal Location / Beautiful Home

You could not ask for a better location! House was super clean and the bedrooms were on opposite ends of the house with the kitchen in the middle which gave it a private suite feel, each with their own bath. Restaurants and bars were within walking distance so no need to worry too much about not being able to park in the driveway, but rather in the church parking lot next door.
