The location was excellent. There were shops and small eateries nearby and the location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. This Pied-a-terre is a great value and real gem very convenient to downtown Charleston.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and really liked the space. It was easy to find, clean and spacious, and having a parking space was a bonus. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, the heat and A/C worked well, and there was good water pressure in the shower. The rental is located in a neat little neighborhood with some great coffeehouses and restaurants. It was a bit of a walk to get to the main attractions, but we had a rental car to see the sights when needed. It can be challenging g to see the keypad at night, so be sure to have your phone flashlight handy. Communication via VRBO messaging was prompt. One noteâŠwe found it confusing after booking when I was texted by the property manager YOURPAD for direct payment, as there was no name or way to verify they were who they said they were. I had to check with VRBO to confirm it was a valid payment request link.
Convenient to Upper King Street, the French Quarter and so many historic sites. Great having off street parking. Every thing we needed in the apartment.
We had a great stay and enjoyed the accommodations. The place has an excellent location to explore downtown Charleston. Host was great and very responsive.
Great location in a cute neighborhood with lots of restaurants and a coffee shop nearby. Kitchen is just enough to make yourself a meal and bed was VERY comfortable. Very big size for two people, definitely recommend!
Our host, David, was great! Welcoming! The place was great! Just what we wantedâŠhistoric home feel, hot shower and comfy bed! We loved that there were 2 loveseats! My husband and I could stretch out and be comfortable after a day of sightseeing! I jokingly said, the only thing missing was a small sofa blanket to cover up with after a tiring day! Would stay again!!
Exactly as pictured. Historic home nicely renovated. Cozy, well-kept and clean unit & property. Parking a great plus. Many walkable places nearby. A bit outside of the main downtown area but a nice and safe walk.David was initially responsive but response was noticeably delayed regarding standing water in a clogged tub. Trouble was fixed 2nd of 3 day stay. A bit drafty and able to hear upstairs occupants and street traffic. Clean well kept surrounding neighborhood.
Comfortable weekend stay on a good-weather weekend. Host offered friendly & well-timed instructions & reminders. The tile & brick aesthetic gave a cozy feel to the ground-level apartment. Enjoyable walk to King St. and around the neighborhood. We parked the second car in an overnight lot at 96 President St. using HonkMobile â easy! Amenities that made this a â10:â strong internet, black-out curtains, shower pressure, lots of drawers & closet space, a big Keurig with lots of options. If you want to be near King St. without staying in the middle of it, rent here.
