The Space: Our spacious 2nd floor condo, ‘The Honeydew’, is ideal for groups of 4 with 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath. Located on Broad Street.

Accessed by a shared entrance/exit, and up (interior) stairs, The Honeydew features an open floor plan that accommodates both dining and lounge space, making it great for small groups looking to spend time together or enjoy a meal. Unit is located on the 2nd floor (accessed only via stairs). A fusion of Charleston’s history and modern luxury, there are original hardwoods throughout, elegant high ceilings, original chandelier, beautiful molding, and fireplace with original masonry. The bathroom has been updated with Carerra marble and a large walk in shower with luxury linens. The Master Bedroom features a king size bed with luxury linens and beautiful tall windows overlooking Broad Street. The cozy second bedroom boasts a queen size bed with luxury linens. The partial kitchenette has a marble countertop, stainless steel mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker and drip style coffee maker, sink and dishes/utensils for 6. The kitchenette opens up to the living room with comfortable seating area and flat screen TV with cable and ability to stream and complimentary WiFi.

Please note the fireplace is inoperable.

Perfect Location

We had a great time. The property was very nice and had a parking space! The location is perfect for a short walk to everything you would want to visit. Lots of great restaurants abound. Would recommend to anyone visiting Charleston.

Great Location and Beautifully Decorated!

The Honeydew was great! The property manager allowed us to check in earlier in the day, which was fantastic. It’s centrally located, just a short walk to several must-visit places in Charleston! It’s also dog friendly and in an area with several dog-friendly shops, parks, and restaurants! Our stay would have been 5 stars vs 4 stars with attention to a few aspects related to upkeep and comfort, unrelated to the fact that this is a historic home. For example, we would have preferred to have privacy shades on the bedroom windows facing Broad St. (we just had to be mindful to change clothes not in the bedrooms after dark) coffee filters (paper towels worked fine as a substitute!) instead of access to the Wonderer. Very minor, easy to fix things that shouldn’t deter anyone from booking this gorgeous place, but worth mentioning to those expecting a luxury stay before they’re fixed. The space is decorated beautifully and communication for check in and out was perfect!

Location, location, location

Wonderful stay in downtown Charleston. Walking distance to all the tourist destinations. Brand new Bagels by Kiss just two doors down. Clean, nice sized bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Nugget ice maker a nice addition. There is a full set of stairs to climb but they are inside and very well lit. We will definitely return.

Great location

We stayed the weekend of SEWE. This is a great location with many restaurants nearby. Since we were driving a SUV, we didn’t even attempt to park in the lot, but there is a public garage very close. When we arrived Thursday evening, there was a parking spot on the street right in front. Sunday morning, there were lots of spots which made it easy to load up. One of our favorite restaurants in Charleston is Fast and French, which is only a couple of blocks away and we highly recommend it.

Location can't be beat

Repeating what others have said, but the location is perfect for walking around Charleston. A few quirks, like broken toaster and a lot of pots and pans for a place with no kitchen which was odd, but overall a great place for us for the stay.

Quick Family Vacation

The property was perfect. We needed to fit a pack and play in the room and was worried at 1st that there wouldn’t be room but once we got there and settled in, everything worked perfectly. Plenty of room and separation that we needed. Convenience is traded for street noise, but a simple sound machine was all that was needed.Parking is tricky, but on-street parking can be used if it’s too tight.

Great location nice details

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of nice details from the well-stocked kitchen (plenty of glasses, cups, plates & silverware) to the fan in the bedroom (would be great to have fans in both bedrooms!). The parking spot is definitely tight, but we managed it just fine. Glad we brought a smaller car as they mentioned it in the listing. Would stay there again.

Great location

Cute apartment right in the heart of historic Charleston. Great to have the extra space. Easy to walk to countless coffee shops, restaurants, boutique shops, King Street, or through historic neighborhoods south of Broad. Really great to have the parking spot, although it was a little complicated to get in and out of.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place. Great location and really nice neighbors. Only comment on interior decorating is Paint the ceiling chandelier medallion rather than leave it in the stock foam with no paint. Such a great piece but the foam color just detracts from it all. The other part is the gap between the shower door, and the shower wall is too wide with no water protection and water is hitting your wood floor damaging the wood outside the shower. I would hate to see that get worse since the floors are beautiful as well. Put in a silicon lip or something on the door to help preserve such a wonderful place.

The location cannot be beat. Felt like a local and was right at all the sites I wanted to see. Given that the unit is right on the street and the windows in that region are generally thin, you do hear traffic in the early morning sometimes.
