We were placed in room 110. We were not told the room was next to the breakfast area. Every morning, we heard the person in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Very noisy. The thermostat did not work properly. It was either too warm or too cold. It did not run consistently. We called the front desk, and we were told the system was automated and nothing could be done. The front desk clerks were not friendly. We were never greeted with a "good morning" or "good evening." The clerks were on their phones quite a bit. Overall, not the best experience.

What a nightmare

My family and I were recently displaced by severe storms and spent one night at the Hampton Inn, hoping for some rest during a stressful time. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but restful. At around 2 a.m., we were woken by a loud party in the room next door that escalated to the point where the sheriff's department had to intervene. Just as we were settling back in, a fire alarm went off at 3 a.m., forcing the entire hotel to evacuate into the parking lot. We were never informed when it was safe to return to our rooms, leaving us confused and exhausted. I reached out to hotel management afterward to express our concerns, but their response was dismissive. They claimed all procedures were followed and accepted no responsibility for the chaos or the lack of communication during the evacuation. Given the poor handling of the situation and the complete absence of accountability from management, I can confidently say we will never stay at this Hampton Inn again.

Super clean. Nice location. Close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and businesses. Not too far from O’Hare or Woodfield. They seem to be energy conscious. The hotel felt safe and secure. The Front Office and Housekeeping staff are top notch. Very professional and hospitable. I give this property 6 stars. One note. Because of sold out situation, I changed rooms 3 times which I did not mind. None of the bathrooms had exhaust fans. After a shower the rooms felt damp for hours, and my towels didn’t come close to drying overnight. Even with a/c blasting, the bathrooms felt slightly humid at best. Isn’t a fan required by code? Anyway it didn’t spoil my visit at all.

The stay was wonderful. Definitely one to keep in mind when visiting that way again. Spacious rooms, very clean, staff was approachable, friendly & helpful. Breakfast was also very good and found the area very clean! The grounds around the hotel were also very well manicured, my morning walk was very calming and peaceful.
