Bear Cabin, Hocking Hills

11’-4 x 30’ Custom Cabin, front deck with porch swing, rear deck with 4 person hot tub. It is one bedroom with queen size bed and carpeted loft with two twin mattresses. Loft is big enough to sleep 2 comfortably. One bathroom with 36” x 36” shower. Full efficiency kitchen with basic cooking utensils and tableware for 8. Nice quiet location, easily accessible. Pet friendly with a maximum of two pets. There are two buildings on the site, one is the utility shed and NOT a second cabin. Cabin lies within easy access of all Hocking Hills activities. Landline phone available for use. NO INTERNET
. No cell service in the immediate area.

The cabin was perfect. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking. We took our Chihuahuas and it was so nice to be able to have them with us. Everything you need for a comfortable, quiet stay. I would definitely go back.

The cabin was well maintained & stocked with toiletries and dishes. We also enjoyed that it was pet friendly and loved the hot tub! With that said
we would like to point out that the surrounding area is very scary and run down! There is no cell service or WiFi! You had to drive about 15 mins into “town” to find a gas station where you could get cell service. (We were unaware of this until we got the directions the day before our trip on how to access the property) thank god there was a landline in the cabin and that made us a little less uneasy in case of an emergency! The closest “grocery store” was a dollar general about 25 mins out. The one night where we had a frost advisory we went without heat because there was no mode button on the unit to turn it from ac to heat. We finally figured that out after freezing all night. This is not necessarily the owners fault (user error and we most likely could have called him for help) we would just say this listing is very vague and doesn’t mention any of this, we feel this place wasn’t worth the amount charged!

Very clean and private cabin in the woods of Hicking Hills. The host has a beautiful set up with a fire ring, hot tub, and a short walkong path behind the house. This cabin is pet friendly and our dogs loved every minute! There were some ants and wasps on the property. They left us alone but should probably have a spray. Great trip, great stay- would definately return. No wifi was the best way to disconnect from everything!!

We loved our stay at the bear cabin! The house was stocked with everything we would need and very clean. Sitting in the hot tub, surrounded by trees, was so relaxing. There’s even a little creek flowing nearby, which was a nice surprise and added to the tranquil ambiance. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was great. The cabin was clean, cozy & had everything we needed to enjoy a much needed getaway. Not having wifi or cable was nice to just be able to relax & reset.
