Period house, formerly belonging to Count Orlando Cattani, the one who donates Mount Verna to S. Francis of Assisi; located on the old road, now recognized at European level, as an international route, which connects La Verna to Assisi.
A few meters away are the ruins of the Castello del Conte Orlando, the Podesteria where the young Michelangelo Buonarroti lived and the park of the Casentinesi Forests.
Numerous paths to be followed on foot or on horseback, which join Chiusi della Verna to the nearby Sanctuary; both in summer and in the other seasons there are many events, both cultural and recreational. Famous is the Truffle Festival, the festival of writers called Libra, the Christmas Markets. Excellent gastronomy.
