The location was great. The facility was really dirty. The room had no toilet paper and there was dirt in alot of places. I think this is an indication of the price. The person who checked me in was not too friendly, but there was a second person who was great. She also checked me out in the morning and was very friendly.

Can't sleep in 50 degrees in January.
I checked in Jan 20. It was 11 degrees. The first room had no lights, and no working television to light up the room. It was 65 degrees in that room. I was given the next room on the same floor. I could not open the door, so the front desk clerk opened it for me. TV did not work, so she came back with second remote, no batteries. Came back with batteries, but I had TV on. Temp was 50 degrees so she adjusted heat and said it would warm up in 15 minutes. That was about I spent 1/2 hour and temp went from 50 to 51. Hair in bottom of bathtub. Never took my coat off. waited until 9:30ish when I asked for a refund, (which the clerk granted, but now Expedia says they can't refund) I did not know I had to cancel thru Expedia. And how would I explain these conditions? I booked Hampton thru Expedia for that same night. Sleeping in 70 is better than 50 degrees. This sucks! I hope to get a call from Kings Inn Manager to tell Expedia I NEED MY MONEY BACK! Receipt says completing renovations in 2024...HUMMMM....

Worst place ever!!!
I travel all the time and stayed at many of hotels, this by far was the worst! Rooms are filthy and smell horrible. The manager Kris is the absolute worst! I paid for a room and was called at 7am telling me I needed to change my room that I was already staying in for 4 days. She came up at 11 banging on my door then proceeded to open it. She began cussing and told me she was calling the cops. Cops came escorted me off the property for a Room that was already paid for! Then I ask for a refund and was charge 51 more dollars. Never received my refund and had 3 more unauthorized charges from the establishment. Was literally robbed in front of the cops while Kris sat there laughing about and had to leave cause was told I was trespassing. I have never dealt with such rude hospitality for no reason. I would definitely say if you are a person of color or any one don’t stay here!!!

They didn’t even have a tooth brush for us or toothpaste and can’t get a late check out, but I enjoyed swimming in a indoor pool.

Every thing was nice. The only problem was the hot water. I stayed in 3 different rooms. 1 had no hot water at all. The others didn’t have enough for me to finish a shower. That was disappointing.

It was under renovations and upon pulling up some of the windows were cracked and window coverings were torn. It promises to be beautiful when completed can't wait to go back next year. Proof positive don't judge a book by it's cover.
