It appeared to be a nice area but I didn’t have a room reserved upon arrival and I could not understand the employee at the desk who was polite but appeared to have more interest in his phone than me.
Super ghetto, smells like pot everywhere on the floor.
They let anyone in and they do not care who they let in at all
The quality of people going in and out of the building is poor.
Rusted bathtub / dirty looking
Not very well maintained- lazy cleaning. Not done in depth/ detailed at all.
The staff was friendly and the check in process was quick. The hallways could use a good vacuum sweep however the room itself was clean. I believe the hotel is being slowly renovated. I stayed in a king suite which was spacious.
We just needed a place to rest our heads and were too tired to contest the state of this property. However, we would never return or recommend. The property is in a dire state - torn wallpaper walls, non-operational thermostat, and a smell we couldn't quite peg. This could have been foreshadowed by the foul tempered woman at check-in.
Our room was dirty- things from previous people left in room. Door lock broken, fridge had black mold, we checked in and after viewing room checked out. It looked like the room possibly used as storage. My kids didn't feel safe and felt like they were being watched the 5 minutes we spent in the room.
Person who checked us in was nice and professional.

The place was over all clean, but aged. except there were clear signs of black mold in places around the Bathtub. Probably just replacing the Tub surround would solve it.
